"Are you looking for something or you have come here to work?" Thress struggled to say.
Guild cleared his throat."Your majesty... I apologize. I was of the opinion that the Lady was here with you..." Guild said as he set down the tray and walked to the bed to help the king sit up.
He stretched out his arm to assist the king in coming down from the bed so that he could sit with his legs on the floor.
Thress slapped his hands away. "Bring the medicine here. Did you make it bitter this time around?"
Guild was surprised that the king had remembered to ask. How could a medicine cure stomach distress be sweet? Guild could not understand the king at all — not one bit.
He swallowed as he happened to be lost for words on what to reply to the king.
Thankfully, Thress did not push further and waited in pain for the eunuch to bring what would relive the pain he was feeling.
Guild placed the tray on the bedside table and smiled awkwardly at the king.
