The door of Seth's private chambers opened and Seth wondered who had stepped in without first announcing their presence. He had been having a serious conversation with Ruby until this interruption. But, he was taken aback and his brows furrowed at the sight of the person that was standing only a few meters away from his door.
"You are here quite early," Seth said. "You could have at least waited for the sun to rise, Commander."
"You do not have guards at your door so I thought you weren't in," Mabon said.
"Still, you decided to come in anyway," Seth sighed. "What are you here for?" he asked as he watched Ruby walk back to take a seat at his working desk.
"There is something that we should have discussed a long time ago," Commander Mabon said. He glanced in the princess's direction and was surprised at the lack of facial expression that was on her face. Her face was as straight as a quill and that confused Mabon.
