When Bevin got to the entrance of the wizard's house, he saw that even the door had given way.
What could have happened here? He wondered as he gently stepped through the space where the door used to be.
"Ling!" Berlin shouted as he rushed towards him.
Ling was lying on the floor with his hand over his face.
Bevin got to him and grabbed the old wizard in his hands.
"What- What happened here?" He asked in an almost gaspy voice. It was as if he was breathless.
Ling didn't respond to him with words. He just pointed forwards towards the window that was in the general room.
Bevin's gaze followed the wizard's hand and his breath hitched in his throat.
His eyes widened and were as wide as saucers. Just then, it started to rain. The lightning struck and it was shortly followed by the thunder rolls.
