Ruby trembled inside even though she tried her best not to let it show. She held unto Seth tightly but was not sure about how the situation that they were in would turn out. They were heavily outnumbered and the men looked like they were here to kill. Her eyes darted to the driver that laid dead just a few meters away from where they stood.
Seth turned to look at her and cocked his head in a direction and he hoped that Ruby would understand what he was trying to say to her. This was a dire situation and he needed her to be away from what was about to happen.
