Vion almost kissed Alys out of the overwhelming joy he felt.
To be sure, he asked: "Where is the letter?"
"What do you mean?", Alys asked him in return. "It is with the prince with the snake eye"
[Too much information. I do not even know what that means], Vion thought as he didn't bother to ask her what she meant by that. All he was concerned about was that he heard the prince in her statement. That was good enough for Vion.
"But you returned quickly", Vion said.
"Yes... did you expect me to sleep there?", Alys asked. "That prince doesn't have guards stationed outside his room. I have always thought that was weird, but oh well. I handed him the letter and sashayed away", Alys said as her eyes became dreamy. She had always found the prince particularly handsome. Alys had a knack for dangerous, strong, powerful, and not to forget, rich men.
