The dust had settled -- or so Sir Taff thought. He had put all his plans and actions against King Thress on hold and he had spoken to Sir Pride once about it. They had decided to wait until the right time. They had decided to wait for the king to tire from telling his spies to watch them. Sir Pride had a means of discovering if they were still being followed and he had deduced that it was getting better now. The spies were not following them every day -- it had become like three days in a week kind of spying.
It had been thought for Sir Taff to sit back and watch but he hadn't been given an option. hen one was dealing with an irrational person like Thress, one had to be extra careful. Sir Pride shared the same opinion. He had been worried about his children and Sir Taff had understood even though he didn't have a child of his own.
