Annie stood talking to the five young guardians before her in the mission base. Some of the workers glimpsed the teenagers who stood out in their shiny jackets, heels, and let-down hair. But their attention shifted to the commander walking towards the scene. They shifted their focus elsewhere and tension filled the air.
Annie gave the five teenagers their telecoms with her last words. "These telecoms are set for individual teleportation. You can teleport separately but please–go somewhere private. Though I don't suspect any danger, your freezing stage at such a crowded place is a call for concern."
Tess and her teammates darted their eyes to Sensei who stopped beside Annie. They had seen him step out of an elevator in the distance but sadly he reached them before they teleported. Their doubts began to take over.
Annie did not turn to face Sensei and asked, "Linn, what are you doing here?"
