Brayden had spent the better part of the week working from home. He had been in a strict routine of his morning run and workout, shower, he generally skipped breakfast and went into his home office where he worked from home for hours on end without much of a break.
Estrella was able to get him to eat something for lunch, but even then he generally only finished half his meal no matter what she gave him. Valkyrie had apologized profusely when she found out what she had done.
But Brayden didn't blame Valkyrie. She definitely shouldn't have been answering his door half dressed but he knew that she wasn't trying to cause any harm out of it. She was simply answering the door.
How was she to know who would be on the other end of the door. Brayden blamed himself. He didn't see why he should be able to have her. He had set the tone of their miscommunication to begin with.
