Meredith stood between Mizuki and Brayden. Brayden wasn't really paying attention to either of them. He wasn't sure how he felt about Mizuki and her recent actions. He had never seen her act that way before. Although he hadn't dated or brought any other women around her before. She was clearly jealous, which was flattering but she seemed to be taking it too far by trying to get his wife killed on the Swiss Wall.
He sighed and waited for them to hopefully back down and this nonsense. Then he could go back to bed with Meredith. He had wanted Meredith to go back to normal, whatever normal was. He did like that he could get so close to her without her pulling back or shutting him out.
Still there was a coldness behind her eyes. It concerned him. He had tried to think about when it started. He couldn't remember if it was before she went to see her therapist or after. He did notice she had started running around the same time she started to change.
