Meredith was in the back seat alone as Sean drove her to the doctor's office. She wasn't sure what kind of doctor it was. She didn't really know the difference between a psychiatrist and a psychologist or even if a therapist was different. Then there were counselors and life mentors and all kinds of different names.
Meredith did understand client privileges and confidentiality was one of them. She knew that Brayden was particularly excited about that benefit. What she really wanted to talk to the therapist, doctor, whatever was the obvious attraction she had to Brayden and vice versa.
She was hoping the doctor could help her figure something out. A way that wouldn't break her heart but also wouldn't make her feel like a little kid locked in a candy store every night and told not to touch anything.
