Alan Tanner was confused by Mel's words. He raised his eyebrows as if asking his daughter for more explanation.
"I already knew that you must be clueless. What happened this afternoon was an attempted murder. Our car was intentionally hit with at least two snipers surrounding us at the crash scene. Luckily, my fiancée helped us in time, so we all survived. Although Grandpa is severely injured and still unconscious, I'm so grateful no one's lives are lost." She said with her sad tone, deliberately provoked her father to be angry.
But, she didn't tell him about her actions and Alex's team. She only mentions Andrew's name, so she doesn't have to explain more details to him.
"My daughter, are you telling the truth!?" Alan Tanner was so shocked. He looked pale at the fact that someone wanted to kill his father and daughter at the same time.
His mind immediately figured out the culprit's motive.
