At Highland Hospital.
As soon as Mel entered her grandfather's VIP room, in the living room, she saw Uncle Jim sitting on the sofa with a middle-aged man she had never seen before. They seemed to be discussing serious matters. Mel didn't want to disturb them. She deliberately strolled towards Grandpa's room.
But...
Uncle Jim immediately stood up when he saw her and greeted her politely. Mel couldn't help but smile and nodded slowly at him. Then she went straight into Grandpa's treatment room.
Grandpa is sitting on his bed while enjoying his breakfast. Occasionally his eyes look at the TV flat hanging on the wall. Because he was too serious watching the news, he didn't realize that Mel was currently standing by the door staring at him.
After a while of letting her grandfather enjoy his meal, she finally greeted him.
"Grandpa, good morning."
