The sun had drowned itself in the embrace of mountains but Prudence kept practising with Daisy. The horse had enough of the wildness still alive inside it to sustain this long.
"Surprised you managed four laps after so long," Vincent commented.
Prudence did not glare at him this time. He was here most of the time and he did the best job of distracting her. This time Prudence had finally made Daisy understand her. Just one more lap and there won't be any punishment from Vincent. Even though her body was still weak, Prudence felt certain energy from the adrenaline coursing through her veins.
As Prudence pulled on the reins a little as she was used to, Daisy turned the corner perfectly.
