Prudence froze as Vincent glared at her hard. His jaw clenched as his fangs bared themselves, "What fell on your skirt, Prudence?" Vincent was furious at her. "Are you trying to get away by killing yourself?" His finger bore into her cheek as Prudence shut her eyes in pain.
"N-no, His Grace," Prudence said with a bewildered look.
Before she could say anything else, he grabbed her hand and dragged her behind him, "don't touch your face." Vincent's head was clouded by the anger that boiled inside him. He could not leave the girl alone for even a second. Vincent himself could not understand why he was so angry. It had always been the case when someone tried to harm his belongings. Even if it was the person themselves doing so.
"His Grace I-" Prudence was finding it hard to keep up. Her feet did a little run every two steps, "Please slow- I can't keep up."
