Prudence bit into the inside of her cheek before she stepped forward. Vincent's lips twisted as he raised his hand ahead again for her to take. Prudence glared at his hand and stopped a little further from him. "Come closer," Vincent spoke. His voice was dangerously cold.
Prudence gulped before she took a step closer, but did not lend her hand to him
Vincent clicked his tongue, "do you want me to come to you, Prudence?" A mischievous grin spread across his lips as he took one step forward. Prudence sucked in a silent breath before she walked ahead and stood close to him. However, she did not hold his hand till the end. Vincent brought his outstretched hand to her face before holding her chin and lifting her face so she met his eyes. "Do you like running, Prudence?" he asked.
She did not understand what kind of question was that. "I would run away from you any chance I get," her emotions did the answering once again.
