"Not looking for enemies you say?" Dila's sharp stare at Rere is full of sarcasm.
"Sister, please don't be angry. I just want the best for you. How about Bara and us sit together and talk?" Rere begins her mission. She is an expert in stirring up people's feelings.
"Don't be crazy."
"I am not crazy, sis. It's about time the three of us sat down and talked about the kids. I'll tell my husband everything." Rere was proud of herself for being good at acting.
"Stop messing up, Rere." Dila pointed her finger at Rere. Anger was evident in her eyes.
"Sister, I just wanted to do the right thing. I just want to unite the children with their father."
"Get out of my house." Dila drives Rere out. Her hand shows the door where Rere can use to leave.
"Calm down, Dila." Lala calms Dila who looks very upset.
"How can I calm myself, Aunty. She wants to take my children away." Dila sobbed. "The children I raised by myself are going to be taken away from me"
"My husband didn't leave you. He was left, not leave. Please underline that. It sounds cruel, but I want to save my husband from this humiliation. He is not going to lose his memory forever, right? It's impossible to lose his memory forever."
"Rere. Can you stop being too blunt?" Lala is the middleman and she doesn't want their fight to get louder.
"I don't want to be too blunt, aunty. But what else can I do if sister Dila doesn't want to listen to my opinion? What can I do? I just want to make Bara happy. I don't have many requests. Please be fair to my husband. He must know his children. I want to make a deal."
"What kind of mother do you think I am? I won't let my children live with you."
"So, you want to made up with Bara?" Rere laughed. It's time to trap her sister-in-law.
Dila could not answer Rere's question. From the bottom of her heart, she really wanted to reconcile with Bara, but Rere and Leon got in the way of their relationship.
Dila does not want to be her husband's second wife. It never crossed her mind to be a part of a polygamy marriage. That kind of marriage is indeed allowed in her religion, but it is not that easy to live it. Dila has seen her brother's marriage with his two wives. His brother's wives never got along and try to destroy each other. They get along only in front of his brother, but behind him, both wives are hostile to each other.
"Think about my offer. The three of us will discuss the future of our children or you will become my husband's second wife. Don't worry, I will approve your marriage. Don't be afraid to be considered a second wife. You will still come first for my husband."
"Are you serious about what you just said, Re? You give your husband to another woman?" Lala stammered. She can't believe Rere will say those words.
"What kind of wife are you? Give your husband to another woman?"
"Sis, I'm just being realistic. Isn't men are allowed to do polygamy in our religion? I don't have any problem with you marrying again for the sake of the children. The highest essence of loving someone is letting go. But I can't let him go yet, maybe everything will be better after I give my husband permission to marry. He will have you and the children. Leon and I won't lose Bara. I know my husband lost his memory when we married, but Bara will remember everything eventually. After everything that happened, am I going to be dumped? Of course I don't want that. I need you, sister. When his memory comes back, at least you will be there and explains who we are to Bara. He loves you very much. I know how Bara was in the past when you were married." Rere spoke convincingly.
Bara burst into laughter when he listens to Rere and Dila's conversation. Rere has installed a small camera in the form of a button and she also installed a small mic on her body. Bara asked her to confirm how Dila would react when Rere claimed that she is Bara's wife. Very cruel prank indeed
"She is crazy. Why did she start to talk about polygamy? I was never interested in that. She's out of his mind." Bara chuckled when he watches them from his laptop.
Dila's frightened expression never ceases to entertain him. Dila's expression right now looks adorable and Bara tries to suppress the urge to kiss the lips that have always been an addiction to him. He can't wait to hug and touch her.
"I'm never going to hand over the children to you." Dila insisted on her decision.
Bara, Daniel, and Tia watch the drama that was being presented by Rere with big interest. They smack their forehead when they saw how easily Rere have Dila in the palm of her hand.
"It seems like I talk too much. I will give you three days to think about this. You can marry my husband so you can stay with the children or I will forcibly take the children away and you can't see them anymore. I am willing to welcome another wife as long as my husband is happy. I want him to know how much I love him."
