Chapter 44 - CHAPTER 44 - Souls Sewn into the Fabric

Well let us get back on topic shall we? No skimming yet as I said but we should see where the night's events we witnessed will end at least and for someone so pious you have no sense of tolerance do you? I thought patrons were a virtue or some nonsense like that but let's actually get back to the False Heroes and their plight or would you prefer a thousand recipes for bread? No, I thought not now let us see the crew reunite after this mission they went on is finally over...In case you haven't noticed I do not like looking at the shining sands all day...rather bland sight in all fairness and sand is just annoying. It's coarse, dry, irritating and it just gets everywhere.

The slender suit of Armor that carried the prince like a man made creation inside it moved close to the dragon's still fresh corpse before Mathis seemed to fade out of the still moving suit as it caught him and helped him sit near the leg, the scales still warm to the touch before the weapon revealed his voice to everyone, A old but soft tone that seemed like a wise old man,

''You need to stop pushing yourself. Indra will not be pleased if we die before spreading his name.''

The wood elf looked up at the suits helm, looking past seeing the two others staring at Lytesbane with weird looks before he spoke to them,

''Lytesbane you should grab the splinters and last remnants of my staff...Bee your hammer is around the throne somewhere so go ahead...Girl you'll be staying to assist me since my vision is still a bit shaky got it?''

Lytesbane nodded as he stood and moved much more naturally now, starting to pick up the smaller shards of the staff as Bee went off to find his hammer.

The young girl sat near the neck as the prince clicked his fingers and One appeared from his shoulder, looking at the prince who told the imp his duty,

''As you can see buddy I'm not feeling great here...We could use a lot of this things body to heal the boy...Start with the scales and skin before moving on to the blood, muscles and finally take the bones out individually. Sophie will catch them in this bag...Sound easy enough?''

The girl grabbed the bag and stood ready as the imp nodded like a madman, flying over to Its back and starting to slice of the scales with perfect precision, each scale popping out like a screw, the imp thought moving down its body collecting the best for it's master, careful no not cut its skin with her sharpen claws before Mathis shouted up,

"Oi One! make sure you tell me when you get to the eyes! got it?"

The imp almost tripped over its jutting spine as he looked he dropped some of the scales, the young Sophie rushing to make sure she caught them before they hit the ground while yelling at the imp,

"The hells are you doing up there?! I can't be everywhere at once. You little fu-."

She was stopped by the sound of the prince clearing his throat rather loud, staring with his eyes cold, his shaky vision seemed to be perfect as he watched, making the girl continue with no complaints.

The demon moved towards the old and decrepit throne with the dried husk of a human still sitting upside down, making the demon crack a small smile before he started looking around the throne itself, placing his hand high on it as he swinged behind but felt a sharp sting in his forearm, he pulled himself back with a hiss as he looked at the small but deep cut on his wrist, looking up and seeing a small blot of his white blood but not staining black yet to the dwarfs confusion, slowly pulling into the lower part of the throne and towards the corpse, Bee placed his finger in its way only for it to move around and still make its way to the corpse. Confused he looked at his arm that was doing the same thing and pulling towards the body making the man think,

'The hells is going on?...Fuck it I've got to find it.'

He flicked his arm, making the blood fly off and land on the corpse as he turned and began his search again, interrupted by the sound of footsteps.

''You are being a fool Bee...Prepare. It is coming from your back.''

The demon did not question and pulled his Warhammer down quick with a swing and meet a object as he finished the half spin, now seeing the corpse was trying to use its foot to beat his head, In anger the demon went to pull down but the corpse relaxed his leg, now using the momentum while moving his limb away from the impact to perform two flips forward in five feet of air, bringing his ankle down like a guillotine. Bee moved back narrowly avoiding the impact as the flat of his foot nearly scraped his nose, still being sent back like a cannonball from the shockwave and slamming into a wall, indenting himself three feet in. His eyes opened with a haze as he saw the corpse moving at great speed, about to slam a fist into his chest until it stopped as close to the skin as you could get as two arms of golden sand emerged from the demons shoulder blades, pushing him out of the wall and was now grabbed onto the neck and both legs before the voice could be heard again,

''To defeat a demi-god you need the strength of a god...I will lend it to you.''

The demon smiled, letting out a roar as the two hands started pulling the body in two. He placed his hands on either side of the ribs and began to steam through the skin and now reached inside the body, ripping in four different parts in a viscera of dried black blood. The demon stopped his roar only to see the sand holding the remains of his hammer, only a small section of the stone head near the handle remained but all the shards of different pieces were there as well, making him choke slightly before opening a bag and placing the pieces inside and seeing the hands come off his body before the sands took shape into the Orcish shape that we saw at first and spoke to the demon,

''I hate this hall with unholy passion...But a final scan to find all the pieces was simple enough. Now that I've shown you my power, why not actually become a proud vessel and spread my name? Your going to need me in about two minutes again anyway.''

The demon looked confused before the room started to rumble as the visage took the whole body as Bee heard the voice again,

''You can use my power at half its capacity...Remember not to kill your friends with it.''

The fangs of the dwarf were shown. The shifting sands were dispersed but showed the demon standing with the gold moving sands now forming armor around him, his eyes of pure black were now broken into with lines of everchanging golds and browns.

The rumbling had stopped as a bright sphere in the middle of the room appeared and out stepped a man looking in his mid twenties, A long chestnut brown hair pulled into a ponytail and a happy smile as he spoke,

''You freed my stupid body so now young me can fight again! For that I'll give ya my full strength! Willabar is the name by the way, what's yours?''

The dwarf stared in confusion before looking at the prince, trying to pull himself towards the fight with Lytesbane before he shouted to Bee,

''Oi if you kill this thing completely! I mean the soul is gone! I will give you a thousand Dragons! Even a private a Military under Tysol Industries!''

The young man was looking at the elf with a blank and innocent smile before he spoke,

''Ah I ain't seen you since-''

The man was interrupted by Bee's Warhammer slamming into his chin, sending him speeding into the roof and making the dust fly in all directions until the demons armor shifted to his back, blocking the incoming kick from the man,

''Pretty fast! Not going to get me again though!''

The sands started to wrap around the leg, trying to squeeze but the man landed on his other foot and pointed his toe, slipping his leg out and pulling it in at the knee, spinning and releasing it into the ribs of the demon. The sand tried to block it but was pushed aside before the sound of cracking bones could be heard but the demon did not lose his stance, His feet digging up the rocks as he was pushed over five feet before dropping to a knee from the pain in his ribs, the second his head looked down he saw the pointed feet of Wilabar again and felt the sting as it slammed into his chin, sending the demon spiralling through the air and slamming into the high wall,

''That was revenge for that chin shot! That can't be enough!-''

His eyes darted to his right to the sound of a blade slicing through the air. Now sliding his body but stretched his arm behind his back, catching Lytesbane before spinning it in a flamboyant fashion and stabbing the blade into the ground, now looking over to the now standing Mathis, breathing heavy and still slightly swaying as he pulled his hilt from his hip before Wilabar spoke,

''Come on Daramyr! You're meant to be a god! Fight like one!''

The prince smirked before starting a low charge, flicking the mask that sits on the side of head properly. The eye slots began to glow and a blade of green smog emerged from the hilt, Wilabar was ready but was then panicked at looking towards the moving prince, He pulled Lytesbane up and tried to bring it down on the elves head but only to see it phase through the man as Mathis lifted his blade and tried to slice his left side, only to see the back of a hand raise into his stomach, sending him reeling off into the wall. Willabar stood trembling afterwards holding the weapon close as he turned, seeing searing fires from his periphery and tried to swing the bladed lance across only to hit nothing but dying embers as a hard object slammed into the back of his knee, another sharp object stabbed into his lower back.

Bee was standing with his one handed hammer in the back of the demigods knee, one of his horns had grown out that he used to stab the man only making him lift his other leg,

His body seemed to flail as he raised the leg, slamming it into the demon's mouth but not moving him in the slightest as he grabbed the limb with both hands, pulling his horn down his leg before slamming him over his head into the ground. Not letting go off the leg before he dropped his hammer and made a fist that seemed to spark into a bright white flame, unloading it repeatedly into the ground but annoyed seeing the demigod was still moving his head and body out of the way, making the demon more angry as he wrenched the leg he had hold of at the knee, making the demi god only lay on the back of his neck before he raised his hand, still holding Lytesbane and tried to decapitate the demon but only phasing through like the prince, letting his hand go down and bringing the flat down like a axe onto Wilabar, sending it deep into the ground, splashing debris everywhere as the demon stood with the lifeless leg in hand.

He believed the man was done, letting out a sigh that was interrupted by the other leg plunging in his ribs, almost breaking through his skin like a blade but once more the demon did not move but only grabbed the other leg before throwing him back into the ground. The demon started gripping the knees trying to crush them until he heard a loud squelch moving towards him but he did not react in time. A dagger made of crimson blood stabbed threw his shoulder making him release his grip before the demi god used the demons own strength to bring his torso back up, jaw almost off and still smoking from the strike before it reformed and he spoke, this time with much more respect than before,

''You've shown you can take a sparring hit. Time to start the serious fight.''

The demon felt the arms wrap around his neck as the legs kicked into the sides of his knees, making them buckle as Willabar released his legs but held the head out, speaking to the hardly conscious demon,

''Well you ain't no god but...best mortal I've ever killed. Any last words...What was your name again?''

The demon took a large breath before he smirked,

''Mountain...Bee...Brute of the False Heroes.''

The man laughed at this before a bright Light took him, seeing the demon bellow fire from his mouth, crisping the entire arm he held him with, making him let go before Bee used his horn to stab him once more but in the lower torso this time, lifting him and spinning his head until the man eventually slide off and careened through a pillar, colliding into the wall plumes of dust clouded the air.

Bee stood looking in the direction of the smoke, huffing heavy with sweat running down him in spades, waiting for the man to rise once more. Seconds past as the outline of his opponent could be seen again, seeming to be limping before it vanished into thin air, the demon started to spin with his Warhammer in hand and trying to dictate where the next attack would start from until he heard the dust shift behind him, turning with a look of fear taking over his face as Wilabar was holding the prince by the throat in the air, looking at the demon with a much more serious face as he started to squeeze,

''It turns out I am not at full strength...The weak gods lied to me. I will kill you all and steal your power. Starting with the fancy elf-''

His eyes moved to a dagger flying at his face but paid it no head but rather to the prince struggling to lift his hands, spinning his wrist before breathing out as the dagger past him and it took the shape of a frozen blade, impaling into the man's neck and started to spread before him and the prince were enveloped in a growing brilliant blue shard of ice, sending them both flying into opposite directions when it shattered and sent splinters everywhere along with them.

Sophie was standing there after throwing her blade towards them, not expecting that to be the outcome as she was still into the stance she threw it in, breathing heavily as her arm began to shake and she averted her gaze to the prince who was sitting against the wall that had cracks from every direction behind. She finally moved to see the prince, feeling the gust of wind from behind her, as she blinked though she felt the subtle warmth of the wall behind her, hearing the sickening sound of flesh being torn open as she looked up and saw the prince being held of the ground with a arm through his stomach, her face stuck in a picture of fear before seeing the blood come out his mouth with a cough that turned into a smile making the demigod confused before he asked,

''You are about to die with a smile? That's good!''

''I am...Mathis Tysol...Leader of the False Heroes.''

As the words were spoke the man turned quick but only saw thin blades of black in his periphery as his vision went completely empty.

We see that One had slashed his eyes out of there sockets and let them roll onto the ground, swirling around and chopping off his right ear, backing off as his hand came out trying to grab him and giving the prince enough time to pull his legs in and use the demigods chest as a springboard, removing the arm that penetrated him like a sword and falling to the ground next to Lytesbane, reaching out and spoke softly making it take its form of knightly armor before standing and holding One's hand as he got to work. Sophie had wiped her face of fear clean as she stood. Now looking like a true warrior as she walked past the prince and grabbed the hilt out of his hands before she spoke to the suit,

''I will need to borrow this as my weapon is gone...How long will you need?''

''About two minutes...Are you sure?''

She looked up at the pillars to see the demon with his hands stretched wide before she smiled and spoke back,

''Make it a minute and move him out of the room. Got it?''

The two looked at each other before looking back and nodding.

Sophie walked towards the blinded and half death man before a blade of compressed gales swimming up and down forming a shorter blade than normal before she spoke loud,

''Oi...I will be taking my turn to fight you now.''

The man stopped wiggling before laughing hard,

''And who in the hells are you?! Didn't even know there was a third one in here but fine! I'll kill you quick.''

Willabar spoke, turning around using his remaining ear to locate the girl as he proceeded to move, each step wide and calculated. Sophie raised the blade of air currents, cutting towards the side of the large demigod who reacted by swinging his arms low, hitting nothing but air and dust as the fin streams of air cut into his skin. He felt the warm blood leak from the cut and hearing the girl speak with a smug tone,

''Ha and you call yourself a demigod?! Your legs are giving up on you old man!''

The face of the man was covered in blood but the sadistic frown was easily seen. He took a low stance before spinning through the air sideways, bringing his leg up before the impact, making the girl roll to the ground. He hit the floor, leaving shockwaves but the girl held on as she saw his knee give out on him and saw her chance, she swiped the leg making him fall parallel to her and bringing the blade over her body like the sun's trajectory but the man was fast enough to roll out of the way, the compressed air slicing into the ground before the man stood and spoke,

''Nice move...Shame ya missed your only chance you'll get.''

The girl smiled before she started to run away and ushering the suit and imp to do the same before shouting back,

''Well that's fine! I was only the distraction!''

The man stayed in stance but his face showed confusion for a second before rage came over him. He heard the shifting sands above not knowing that a hammer made of golden sand that was the size of the whole room was now slamming into him head first. The sounds of rushing sand filled the room as the suit and imp dragged out Mathis' body, the girl slide out the door grabbing the handle as she did, looking back seeing the demon make it just in time for her to close the door but to no effect as she was slammed with the door back but thankfully grabbed by the demon as the sands started to fill the area.

Well a demigod, one of blood and battle nevertheless...lowercase minds out honestly lost track of that one, last I heard from him he was off to fight some other demigod or something like that I kind of...died before those events. Ah I was so hasty but that got me to where I am today. But back to the story of the False Heroes and a promising young spirit…. They have no change…. Well going blow for blow with him even in his atrophied body I doubt though there is the other god Exodia or homemade superficial name…and since when do you care when I screw up a name it's called a joke….
