Well the one thing about a wedding that everyone must appreciate...The night of drinking and laughter that follows especially at a wedding as grandiose as this one...Hm? Fine. I swear you are pushing my levels of control mortal...The crew you speak of is now here in the first rise of the next day's sun and standing around there new ship and preparing it for flight, The members of the royal family all there to see them off so let us return to see what will happen when they return to the mortal level.
The ship was now fully loaded with provisions needed for the journey as Baarias and Kyu were sorting the inside space, Gura and Bee were checking the sails while Mathis and Orelia were looking over a piece of parchment before Orelia spoke,
''Are you...Mad I'm not going with you?''
''No it is better this way.''
He stopped looking at the list and grabbed her hand smiling,
''When everything is ready for our home then you will come...Right?''
The woman smiled before hugging her husband and kissing his cheek. Bee had the third last knot before he turned to his wife, speaking up as he hugged her.
"I should not be too long, six months or so...hopefully but I'll be back and better than ever. Right love?".
"Oh Bee don't think you'll kill that Shitto fucker and come home alright. If you do that I have no reason to be angry. Just.. could you… just… RIP OF ITS HEAD AND SHOVE IT IN A FURNESS?!"
Bee smiled before he smiled then laughed smacking her on the arm.
"I'll bring back his balls in a bag If you want?"
Gura smiled as she punched the demon in the arm, almost making him fall before she grabbed him and they both started to laugh.
Kyu was moving around some of the large boxes while Baarias seemed to be cleaning the room with a sour look on her face, Kyu looked towards her face showing mild concern, almost stumbling over a box as he spoke,
"What's wrong my dear? Almost like you saw a ghost there...you okay?"
Baarias regained her composure, proceeding to flick her hair out of her eyes,.
"Oh, never seen that look before… I'm really going to miss you...My brother has seemed to convince you this will be easy...One of the sixteen steps is no minor task. It takes the strength of a Demi-God like Willabar and the cunning of someone like our Willabaar to truly kill one of those things. We don't even know where they come from or who made them. So please Kyu don't make me a widow so soon and make sure everyone on your pilgrimage comes home alive ok?"
Baarias said almost crying as her eyes were like reflective pools traveling, everything that was left unsaid as Kyu looked deep into her eyes, silver leading green and apple green meeting purple violet as his forehead was laid against hers.
"I will promise on Yoru's name...I will return along with our brother.''
Baarias smiled before she caressed his pale cheek before she spoke softly,
''Then it is a promise then my pretty birdie.''
The two were interrupted by Jericho entering with the rest of the crew, Yyvone making them bow before Jericho pulled out a parchment with a sad but warm smile on his face before he spoke,
''Now your all here I can give you your final gifts and message...From Prince Daramyr Prince, The first born prince and royal child of Recocto.''
The faces of Orelia, Bee and Kyu all looked confused scanning the faces of their partners who all seemed close to tears before the eldest pulled out a mask of demonic shape, horns twirling in on themselves and forming one long interwoven one, handing it to Mathis making him stare at his brother as he held it,
''Jericho...Has Brother given me...This to keep?''
''Yes...The mask of Daramyr is now yours and he has a message for you as well...Don't lose. You are my student and as such your loss is mine. Don't run away either or I will kill you myself...That was it.''
Mathis looked like a child on his birthday at this as he placed it on his head, the face on his shaven side of his skull before Jericho turned to Bee and spoke,
''Now demon. Daramyr saw your battles with your wife and...No surprise knowing that psycho he was impressed...As such he has decided to grant you this from his journeys...Use it well.''
Jericho handed Bee a small jagged crystal that housed a bright blue flame matching the colouration of the central flame on the outside, making Bee go to shake it until Gura and Jericho grab his hand as Gura spoke,
''Idiot! That is an Ever-Tundra! You crack that and this whole place goes up in ice shards!'
Bee laughed as he thanked Jericho making the elder speak,
''Here is the message...Young demon. You made my favourite sibling happy and for that I will help in your goal to burn those who oppose you...make sure to freeze the land so your flames do not claim the innocent...That is all.'''
Bee smiled as he placed it in his chest pocket before Jericho moved to Kyu with a leather interwoven brace for his forearm and handed them to the fallen one and also a letter that he handed to Mathis making the prince confused before he read it and turned to Kyu with a look of fear but also twisted happiness before placing it in his pouch before the elder continued,
''Kyuuwin Kurama I give you something that an old ward of mine once was quite interested in and hope you will wear with pride as a prince of Recocto following the traditions that I'm sure my family will forget about our father. Someone who can control Baarias must have the will of a god himself...Take care.''
Baarias looked at her husband who was smiling as he placed the bracer on his arm as Baarias helped tie the straps as Jericho looked back at Mathis and spoke,
''Well that will be all...Good luck my brother.''
The two smiled before shaking hands at the elbow, Yyvone pulled at Mathis trying to get his attention making him bow,
''My queen I will only be half a year at most and I have a request...actually two if you would not mind.''
''Of course brother...I have one of my own.''
Mathis looked up to see a crying Yyvone as she hugged her brother tight and began to sob,
''When you come back! WHEN! You are not leaving again! Me and You with Orelia are going to spend loads of time together and make memories! Got it?! That's an order!''
Mathis was in shook as he hugged her back, whispered with a soft break in her ear,
''As requested your grace...I must add another request then...When I return I want to see what a strong ruler you have turned into...The other requests are simple...Make sure Orelia is safe and stays happy...the last is to thank Daramyr's wife for this as she will see him before us...Can you do this?''
Yyvone squeezed her brother tighter before she let go with his hands resting on her shoulder, smiling at her as he wiped the dirt from her shoulders as she spoke,
''E-Easy! Then we have a deal! Last thing make sure to buy us some nice presents!''
The crew all began their argument until finally the three men stood on the ship preparing for take off as the girls all watched with sad smiles. The ship lifted off as the men al took their places rising and hearing cheering from the palace seeing the people all cheering on it's roof with Stitches and Dracul waving them off and Drax flying up to the ship and throwing a big bag of Dragons on the hull and smiled,
''So False Heroes! Make sure you live up to the name your fathers party made you got that?!''
The ship began to fly down into the clouds as the crew looked up seeing the royals all waving before Mathis felt Orelia's voice touch his mind,
''Six months...That is a promise right?''
The prince smiled looking at his wife who was holding back her tears before he closed his eyes and thought back to her,
''You have more important things to think about...I spoke with the school who have checked the future for us...Be careful.''
He saw her eyes widen and the girls all swarm her as they finally went into the murky clouds and out of sight. With them now gone and the women and Jericho hugging her she thought to herself now smiling,
''Of course you'd need to know before...I hope it is enough to keep you fighting...Remember...Your a Tysol.''
The crew were flying through the clouds with Mathis at the wheel, Bee moving the tack and weights with Kyu managing the directions with a confused face,
''Willabaar...What did that letter say?''
Mathis smiled as he started to descend from the clouds and in to the open air again,
''That it will be important when it needs to be...Don't worry about it.''
The angel nodded as he looked out of the window, seeing the small trading town of Perimeter Cross again, hoping this time it would be a better trip,
''We should be able to land safely right below.''
Mathis pulled a lever as the ship started to slow and descend down back below, surrounded by the townspeople including the old bar owner smiling as they tied up the ship and walked towards him,
''Good to see you again young heroes! Your quest was successful I presume?''
Mathis tapped the man on the shoulder with a warm smile but spoke with venom behind it,
''Old man...Is there anyone here currently from Glassand?''
The old man's eyes widened as he cleared his throat,
''Y-Yes...A goliath comes once a month to get materials and I believe he is in the town now…''
The tone of the prince turned back into one that matched his smile,
''Thank you very much! Would you happen to have his name?''
''Y-Yes...Elias I believe. Very big, dressed like you hard to miss.''
Mathis seemed intrigued by the name as he started walking into the town with his two companions behind him as the old man thought to himself,
''Five went up but only three return...Losing someone close must be hard.''
The old man said as he watched the Hero's walk away going into the long stretched dirt road littered with traders and merchants. As they walked past the bustle of people trying to buy and sell their wears, the group searched for the goliath but came up short as they walked from one side of the long stretching town to another.
"How hard is it to find a nine foot tall goliath? Should be able to see him from anywhere it's not like there are places to hide or anything...the hells is this guy?!"
Bee huffed out, trying to look past the people in his way before Mathis pulled a couple Titans from his pouch,
"Well he's either left already or is getting a drink so might be worth asking in the bar or something. Personally I could kill for a Sand Storm right now."
Bee and Kyu agreed, both seemingly dying from first as they walked back to the bar, still searching as they walked the long road. They got there to the sounds of crashing glass, shots being fired freely into the air and patrons running out of the doors frantically, some bleeding out as they forced themselves out pushing past our False Heroes.
"What in the infinite hell is going on!"
Bee yelled, grabbing his hammers from his side's ready to strike. Mathis grabbed his two companions, dragging them out the way of the line of sight of the shooters as a barrage of bullets started speeding past where they stood, passing though some of the dashing patrons' bodies, splattering blood over the dirt and staining it a dark red. Three Gnomes walked out of the doors with a Goliath wrapped in chains behind them being dragged along the floor as the central gnome send a bullet into the air before he spoke,
''Unless you want this whole town to burn! Give everything you have to a race superior to yours and try and save your disgusting souls!''
''Oh is that a free option?! How about just purging you from this world!''
The gnome pulled his gun back to his side as he saw Mathis, now walking towards him with a smile and both his hands in his trousers pocket only visible when the wind blew open his cape. The gnome laughed with venom and spit flying out of his mouth as he continued,
''You must really have a death wish, you dirty twig elf!
Mathis smiled as he stopped only ten paces from the bandit before he spoke, a maniacal tone was oozing from his voice,
''I have had to play nice for the last few days...I'm ready to get back to work. Right boys?''
The gnome squirted his eyes of blue but his facial expression of worry was seen below his face coverings, hearing the sound of a blade opening something up followed by the sound of dropping blood, turning only to see sprays of crimson and two blurs of red and white and before he even had time to blink at this he was standing with a dagger to his throat and a hammer to the back of his skull.
''Well it looks like you lost very quickly...Gnomes are never any fun though.''
The last remaining eye's were trembling as Mathis could be heard walking right behind him and leaning in,
''Now...Enjoy your damnation.''
He placed his hands on the Gnomes neck and snapped it in a fluid motion of both hands as the body went limp and dropped the angel was now removing the chains from the Goliath who was now fully visible as he was help up by Kyu, He looked like a younger Otto to the crew and that made them all seem shocked, a dress sense very similar to Mathis but instead of a overcoat he wore a workers apron adorned with tools, his physique was in top shape even for one of his race but his soft blond locks and calming blue eyes broke the image of a fighter until they looked down to see a forearm made entirely of the earth itself from its look, The man bowed to the group as he spoke with a calm voice.
''Thank you for the help, It felt wrong of me to squash such small creatures but I see that is no problem for you. I am Elias Stone-Fist, A blacksmith for the town of Glassand, May I ask who you are?''
Mathis walked to the goliath and spoke,
''People who wish to make Glassand self-sufficient again...I'm Mathis Tysol, The angel that helped you is Kyuuwin Kurama and the short one is Mountain Bee. Nice to meet you''
The goliath stretched out, clicking his back into place as looking over inquisitively to the elf,
"Well that's one hell of a task to try and undertake. I should warn you that people aren't the friendliest to strangers. Especially the adventuring types like yourself from the looks of it but if ya are sticking around there are a friendly bunch… well once you get past the aesthetics."
The large man said, looking the group up and down before continuing.
"But considering you saved my life and all, I'll happily guide you there."
Mathis smiled and outstretched his hand towards the goliath as he reached out with his giant earth like hand as Mathis spoke,
''Well then...Around a two day flight there I believe?''
''No...Any Glassand vessel will be shot down...If you have a automated flight enchantment then I can put in the right coordinates.''
Elias responded to Mathis before they started making their way away from the still fresh corpse, happy they had made a traveling companion for this long journey ahead as they casually walked over to the bar to grab his supplies before heading to the ship. Mathis got it ready to move while Bee and Elias helped pack the products and metals ready for use in Glassand. While Kyu goes over to the body, stripping them bare. Placed them in a small pile then said a small incantation.
"Sweet Yoru, wipe this filth from this town for the gnomish blight runs strong in this land."
As he spoke their body's ignited in a white flame, quickly rending their body's to ash and cinder as the Angel walked away from the bodies, a small pile of items in his arms as he entered the ship's doors going over to see Mathis.
"Here you go. A wedding present."
Kyu said passing Mathis a pile of pouches, weapons and bags. Mathis gave a cold look for a second,
"Ok Kyu buddy I know you're trying to be nice but ya can't just give me a pile of...junk… oh hello never mind"
Mathis said as a bag split a pile of titans and dragons falling to the wooden floor clicking as a small note fluttered out with them. Picking it up and reading it allowed.
"Kill the big guy from Glassand. Then kill their farmer and starve them from the inside out."
As the crew listened on Mathis grabbed his two bags and taking off his cape to place the bags on either side of his body and over both shoulders before putting his cape back on,
''Well you heard that. We should make for the sands now and move. Everyone grab what you need and let's go.''
Elias moved to the wheel as he raised his giant forearm and spoke releasing a bright brown aura that resembled dried dirt that turned to dust before he spoke,
''Leave a message for Regal...This ship belongs to men who are helping me. Please look after it.''
The aura sunk into the steering wheel as he grabbed a sword that would be considered long even for a Giant, a twelve foot long and three foot wide longsword that seemed to shine like polished silver and a few pouches he slung over his broad shoulders, Kyu grabbed one large bag that he placed over one shoulder while Bee grabbed his hammers and a small rucksack he threw on as they left the ship it started to glide inches from the ground in the direction they were to head before Mathis let out a sigh,
''We are going to be walking for a week straight...Great.''
The prince felt the massive hand of Elias touch his shoulder softly before he spoke,
''No worries on that part, There is a shortcut that goes underneath the sands...Filled with Blade Scorpions mind but it don't look like you lot care about some bugs right?''
The three all nodded in unison before ushering the goliath to lead before Mathis spoke,
''Trust me...We have much bigger things to kill."
The crew now all took their first steps into the rough wilderness that was the Seven Sands.
Well it looks like the psychotic sides have started to show now they are away from the rules...This is the reason someone like you would hate them I suppose since they fight with there own rules, none set by god's or elders but by there joint will to survive and that shared break that sits inside their very cores and helps them to make the hardest of choices like they are nothing, sometimes even sporting a murderous smile while in the act...Alas those that hate are never far from the blade, just like our little pack of False Heroes. On their journey though the Seven Sands to a drag, heap and cling together with glue and tack. I wonder if they will be able to overcome the curse that blighted the lands. Left by the very gods that once ruled from above, now all that's left is what's down below forgotten in the sands of time that themselves have been covered by the coarse and rough sands of this desert to the point that not even the stronger of this hell scape's environment have not even a faint idea of the rich and fruitful history of this place. Not that you would care right? unimportant details that would only really benefit the crew you watch...Quite ironic If I do say myself now let us continue.
