Rav gawked as he saw the arena which had multiple true arch shaped glass windows with pearl colored frames next to the grand entrances which consisted of a quartz colored mineral with golden lining.
The arena was colored emerald green without a roof which made the whole feeling of the arena have a feeling of luxury but also liveliness.
Rav continued to bask in the glory of this Verdant Green Arena since it was his first time witnessing this arena since this arena usually held events with expensive entry fees so he never held any interest in coming here until now.
Meanwhile his father, Ren Ki, was wearing an indifferent expression on his face as he also stared at the grand arena,
After two minutes of staring at the arena, "Wow, I never knew your mouth could go down that far," Ren Ki said with his lips curved up while pointing at his son,
"I can't help it. I've never seen anything this big before and also our house looks like an ant in front of this behemoth of an arena" Rav said while looking down with an embarrassed expression on his face.
Their conversation however, was quickly disturbed by the chatters of the crowd surrounding the arena,
"Hey, isn't that the young master of the Ry family!"
"Yeah I heard he even had a lightning affinity!"
"Hmph, I bet he won't even get a decent talent."
"Haa, if only I was as gifted as him..."
The crowd's conversations were full of awe, jealousy, anger, and contempt as they looked at a 5"1 tall young man with crimson colored red hair and eyes wearing blood red robes with some golden accents who was accompanied by two burly middle-aged men wearing plain leather armor.
This young man gave an aura which oozed confidence and a tinge of arrogance as he squinted his eyes and looked around the crowd while the two burly middle-aged men gave an aura which oozed dominance because if one were to look closer...
These two were Bending Rank 3 experts!
Anyone with half a brain would know that hiring two of these people to be bodyguards would not come without a large cost, at least in their city, which would mean that there was a powerful person backing this young man in red robes.
Once the young man entered the arena, everyone followed after because no one wanted to enter the arena before the young master from before as they felt a suppressive aura coming from the two experts with him,
"You ready Rav?" Ren Ki said without any discomfort written on his face,
"Ye-Yeah" Rav stuttered as he still felt uneasy from the aura that oozed from the two experts,
A middle aged man and a young man could be seen entering the arena along with the huge crowd towards a large table with a Elemental Integration Rank 4 experts behind it which was filled with small silver-colored tokens with numbers written on them.
These tokens were the verification tokens needed for the test to be administered.
Some people quickly skipped the large line towards the table as these people and went towards he chairs in front of a large stage.
These people had either a formidable or wealthy background as they bought prestige to be tested first unlike most commoners who had to sign up one month before just to get a chance to be tested as there was a certain cut-off limit.
Rav and his father went to a table and told them their names and the man behind gave them a small silver-colored token with the number 690 written on the front of the token.
After that was done, Rav went towards the seat 690 written on it as his father went to the back of the arena as guardians and parents did not have assigned seating.
There was a man covered in blue robes who called numbers from time to time and a person in the chairs would stand up and come with him towards a private room where the tests would be administered.
Some people would come in oozing with confidence like the young man in red robes or anxiety and worry and they would either come out joyful, determined, or dejected.
Once it was getting close to Rav's number, he couldn't help but play with his fingers with worry and unknowingly to him, cold sweats started to form behind his back as he felt a bad premonition once he entered the private room.
After a few minutes, it was finally his turn as the blue-robed young man called out the number 690 and a 5"1 tall young man with chestnut brown hair wearing black robes with golden linings stood up from his seat and walked towards the blue-robed young man.
The blue-robed young man then walked towards the curtains and the young man behind him followed.
After a few minutes of walking, they reached a pearl white door and the blue-robed young man opened the door and signaled with his hands towards Rav to enter the room.
Once Rav stepped inside, his eyes couldn't help but have a light of curiousity as this pearl-white colored room only had one man covered in blue robes standing behind a table with only a small oak-colored wooden bowl with strange characters inscribed on it which was filled with strange glimmering water.
However, this was not what completely caught the attention of Rav as his eyes were fixated on the floating crystal ball in the center of the room which had an almost enchanting depth to the liquid inside it.
His train of thoughts were quickly disturbed as the man behind the table said,
"Please come here and drop some of your blood into the bowl,"
Hearing the man behind the table, Rav quickly composed himself and walked towards the table,
Once he got close enough, he asked the man with a solemn expression,
"How much blood do I need to drop,"
"Just two droplets will do," said the man behind the table with an uncaring expression,
Without wasting anytime, Rav quickly pricked his finger with one of his nails and dropped three blood droplets into the bowl of glimmering water.
To Rav's surprise, the bowl of glimmering water didn't get tainted by the blood but instead shone even brighter as the transparent water from before shined a beautiful azure blue light.
"Hmm, a secondary element, interesting" the man behind the table's lips curved up as the uncaring expression was replaced with a glint of curiosity.
