It was a KISS.
His alien lips were touching her pouty innocent rims. Her eyes bulged out of its socket while he closed his eyes savoring the moment. She wanted to scream but her muscles felt frozen from his touch on her skin. The blood on her body rose to her face and reddened her cheeks.
She's angry.
Her dream of a perfect first kiss was CRUSHED BY AN ALIEN!!!
She shoved him off and ran as quickly as she could. Crying with every step until she reached the cafe where she works as a waitress. The manager standing behind the counter saw her rushed through the entrance.
"M-Miyu???" the manager called her out.
But she ignored the alien woman and sprinted towards the direction of the storage room. There, she sat at the sack of coffee stacked in the corner. The tears from her eyes flowed continuously as she wiped them with her shirt.
'THAT MEAT-EATER TOOK MY FIRST KISS!!!' Miyu screamed in her head.
She always thought her first kiss would be special. A rich boy asking her for a date. Taking her to an amusement park and kissing her when the fireworks started.
Soft knocks on the warehouse door caught her attention.
"Miyu, are you okay???" Mrs. Fukuhara Haruki asked while still outside.
"Y-Yes, Mrs. Fukuhara…*sniffs… sorry, I-I was…*sniffs *sniffs…c-crying about… *sniffs…," she cried while thinking of a reason behind her behavior, "M-My classmate's puppy died."
The knob turned and the woman wearing a black apron with a logo of a green alien eating a cookie came in. The manager sat in front of her and held her face with both hands.
"I'm sorry, Miyu…," Mrs. Fukuhara mumbled, "But… you smell… delicious," the manager licked her cheek. The long tongue and sharp teeth from the woman's mouth visibly slobbered in front of her face.
Her body trembled from head to foot. She quickly scurried on top of the sack of coffee and raised her arms to defend herself.
"P-PPlease, M-Mrs. F-Fukuhara…d-ddodododon't eat me," she begged, "I-I'm not tasty… i-its the garbage at school…"
The manager continued to crawl closer to her with long red nails and purple eyes gleaming with hunger. The alien woman raised her hand to reach for her.
"AIYAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" she screamed on top of her lungs and tightly shut her eyes.
Mrs. Fukuhara laughed like an old witch. The wild cackling made her gradually open her eyes.
"Miyu, I'm just kidding…," the alien woman joked, flashing a friendly face, "You think every alien would eat you because of your smell???"
"W-Well…," she didn't want to make the alien woman worry by mentioning the incident, "D-Do I really smell tasty to you, manager???" she sheepishly asked.
"You smell like cooked bacon. What do you think you smell like, Miyu???" Mrs. Fukuhara asked.
'I smell like rotting bacon," her nose crumpled, disgusted by her stench.
"Let me find where the smell is coming from, okay???" the alien woman began wrinkling her nose trying to find the odor.
"Okay…," she bounced her head to give her consent.
*sniff… *sniff…The manager breathed in her hands and sleeves of her uniform until the alien woman reached the back of her collar.
"Aha!!!" Mrs. Fukuhara exclaimed, lifting a strip of old meat stuck on her back behind the neckband, "I think this is it."
The odor became overwhelmingly bad, she felt nauseated and immediately covered her nose and mouth. The manager laughed and inhaled the aroma of the piece of flesh. She winced watching the alien woman drool over it but instead of putting it in her mouth, the woman tossed it away to the trash.
"There, Miyu. You won't have to be scared of being eaten," Mrs. Fukuhara grinned to ease her fear.
"Thank you, Mrs. Fukuhara," she replied, crumpling her cheeks to reveal the dimples on them.
"You should wash up and change into your uniform. Emiko is out there alone, manning the cafe. We can't leave her there for too long or she'll eat all the strawberry shortcakes," The manager mumbled trying to lighten up the mood.
She nodded her head and left the storage room. The manager stayed to tidy up the products stored in the area.
*Mrs. Fukuhara waited for the young girl to leave before picking up the meat she tossed at the trash bin. She smelled it again and grinned. The delectable aroma was a scent her race missed the most after living on the new planet. A strip of flesh dried to perfection. It would be crispy and flavorful. She licked it. Her body quivered with its taste. When she set it on her mouth to chew, her body felt satisfied with its meaty human flavor.
[~ALIEN BITES~]
The small cafe owned by an alien woman named Mrs. Haruki Fukuhara serves not only food for aliens but also humans. It was a surprising fact that the Saturnalians love sweets. Their palate was closely related to humans and once their race discovered pastries, it became an addition to their snacks
She stepped out of the washroom wearing her uniform or costume. A pink ball gown with a red ribbon on the waist. The manager insisted on making the servers wear costumes to attract customers who like cosplaying and it also introduced the modern culture to aliens adapting to Earth.
After changing to her uniform, she quickly walked towards the kitchen to help serve coffee and cakes to the patrons.
"You look cute, Miyu," Mrs. Fukuhara teased staring at her.
"I look silly," she replied with her face dimmed opposite the lively colors of her dress.
"You don't look silly. You look like a princess and one day a prince will come and kiss your lips," the manager remarked.
Her body shivered from disgust. She remembered the Alien Prince who stole her first kiss. Her face reddened from reminding herself of his lips. It was a soft brush and not long but every second was engraved in her thoughts.
"Miyu??? Saturn to Miyu???" the manager called her out, waving a hand on her face to get her attention.
"Ehhh??? S-Sorry Mrs. Fukuhara… m-my mind wandered off," she flustered, explaining.
"It's fine. We have a customer at the corner table. Could you take his order???" Mrs. Fukuhara requested, pointing at the elbow couch were a boy settled with his back facing them.
She nodded and walked towards the spot, she inhaled deeply and prepared her greetings.
"Hello! Welcome to—" she was shocked.
"Hi, Ms. Aiuchi!" The boy greeted with familiarity.
"Did you follow me here???" her voice quickly became hostile.
"You ran off here. I want to make sure they won't follow you," Kazuhiko Rise explained.
She blushed. It was nice to learn that the Prince followed her to keep her safe. After stealing her first kiss, the boy made a grand gesture of protecting her from the two aliens.
"You seem to be okay now and your smell is gone," he stated and stood up from his seat, "I hope you don't do that again, putting food in your body to attract my race."
The timid smile on her face quickly changed into irritation, "I didn't put that rotting bacon in my body!!! It stuck to me while I was going down the trash chute at the school," she clarified.
"Hmmm???" Rise scratched his chin to think. "What are you doing at the garbage duct???"
"It's the fastest way to reach the shelter from the ground floor," she proudly reasoned. Her technique was good and she thought the administration at the school should implement the same method.
"No. The fastest way is through the elevator. It goes straight down to the designated rooms," The Prince pinpointed, "If you think about it, you slid down ten floors from the chute. To reach our room, you needed to use the elevator to go up to five floors."
"What???" she was stunned and felt dumb realizing her technique takes her longer than she expected.
"You only avoided the long line but without it, you were still slower than the elevator for going around the shelter," Rise implied.
Her face was disgruntled from humiliation. The technique she was proud of seemed perfect until the alien boy revealed her error.
"Anyway, I hope you don't do that again, Ms. Aiuchi. Using the chute was dangerous," The Prince bowed his head and left.
Her hand clenched from anger. The young heir already took her first kiss and then humiliated her. She wanted to slap his face but they were at a cafe and he's a customer.
