Adisa and everyone else were blown away by the force of the explosion. Adisa soared into the air, scanning the battlefield in shock. "His body is gone?!"
"Oh, I see. Little trick up your sleeve, huh?" Adisa chuckled, feeling a surge of determination. He concentrated, wrapping his aura around his eyes to see into the shadow realm. To his surprise, he spotted Marcel sprinting away with Obsidian's massive body draped across his shoulders.
"Damn it!" Adisa yelled as he took off after him.
---
Marcel ran desperately, Obsidian's enormous form weighing heavily on him. *(It's too late for you, Adisa! You were a great associate, but you must die! Good thing Obsidian saved that creature for last… have fun!)*
---
As Adisa flew, a massive needle made of concrete pierced into his right arm, sending a jolt of pain through his body. Adisa yelled, pinned against a building by the massive projectile.
He turned his head to see a short woman with striking blonde hair and sharp teeth hovering nearby.
"Right on the money!" she laughed. **Amber** and **Toxin** flew above and noticed her presence. "Stone! Finish him off, now!" Toxin ordered, urgency in his voice.
With a surge of strength, Adisa pulled the needle from his arm, wincing as he held his shoulder to staunch the blood flow.
"Stone? I thought you were dead. You're the one who… messed up Silvia's clan," Adisa said, narrowing his eyes.
"Bingo! Besides… you can't kill us, even if you tried," Stone replied, hovering closer to Adisa with a mocking smirk.
Adisa chuckled, his gaze steady. "It's a good thing I'm always being watched. Now or never… Silvia."
Suddenly, Stone, Amber, and Toxin felt their powers begin to wane. **Silvia** emerged from behind Adisa, her aura crackling with renewed strength.
Stone's body froze, unable to move. "Y…you bitch! How dare you… stop me?!"
"How dare you kill my clan? Those women… were everything!" Silvia yelled, her voice filled with righteous fury.
"Your memory is messed up. You must be infected by Obsidian's creatures. Perhaps—"
Silvia flew across the street, delivering a devastating kick that sent Stone crashing through multiple buildings. "WE ARE NEVER ALONE EITHER, ADISA! IT'S GONNA KILL YOU!!" Toxin laughed as she began to regain her mobility.
Adisa felt a powerful presence above him and looked up to see Obsidian's ultimate aura beast—a creature much larger than any he had faced before, standing firm and imposing.
With large arms, powerful legs, two sharp teeth, and massive horns protruding from its head, the beast loomed ominously.
"This is Obsidian's ultimate aura beast. All of his beasts combined into one entity. This being takes Obsidian's energy and amplifies it. You're weak… we have won!" Amber laughed as she broke free from Silvia's control.
Silvia gave Adisa a nod of gratitude. "Thank you," she whispered before flying off to pursue Stone.
Adisa looked up at the monstrous beast, a sense of dread creeping in.
"You said this thing was as strong as Obsidian in his final form? That's amusing," a voice said, drawing Adisa's attention to the tall figure approaching the beast.
"That's… the frost user?" Amber asked, her eyes narrowing as she looked down at the man.
Frost surveyed the scene, his expression unreadable. "No one gets the honor to kill you besides me, Adisa. I'll take care of the monster and deal with Marcel. You go off and clean up the mess you made." He cracked his neck, the sound echoing ominously.
Frost darted toward the aura beast with a speed that was almost blinding. He punched through the creature, obliterating it on impact with his fist.
Adisa, Amber, and Toxin were all stunned. *(He did that with pure strength! He… he killed it!)* Adisa thought, disbelief washing over him.
Toxin and Amber hissed, slowly backing away. "Tell Lapris to change the rules of the game," Toxin ordered Amber, her voice laced with urgency. "I can't speak telepathically like the rest. Tell him this."
---
**Nearby
Lapris was hiding in a building near Jerome and Jericho . "Okay. Will do." He jumped up and moved his small, gooey body out of the building, floating into the air with a determined expression.
"Attention all players. The game will end in five minutes! Three new rules have been established:
1. If Frost interferes with anyone in combat, he is doomed to death atomically!
2. All points will go directly to the king, giving him even more power.
3. I declare that millions of portals from our world will open inside of my expansion—"
"SHUT UP ALREADY!!" Sendra yelled, leaping off a nearby tower, her voice filled with fury.
"Ballistic Air Assault!" She launched a barrage of energy blasts toward Lapris, the attacks raining down like an explosive storm.
Lapris let out a loud screech as the energy struck him, forcing him back. "You can't just go around ruining my announcements!" he sighed, attempting to regain his composure.
Sendra floated a few yards in front of him, a smirk on her face. "You have great abilities. It's a shame you haven't even tapped into your full potential. Tell me… do mythical beasts train?"
"No need. We are born strong, fool. Now, let me be. I can't disobey Toxin's orders," Lapris retorted, his confidence wavering.
Sendra rolled her eyes. "Orders, huh? Listen, I'm not fully Akie, so all the rules you've applied mean nothing to me. Do you know what that means?" She began to flare her aura, a powerful force radiating from her.
"I have a special ability… I decline all powers or technique laws that try to affect me." Sendra unleashed her full aura, the air around her shimmering with raw energy.
Lapris's eyes widened in shock. "Cowards like you deserve nothing but death! You will pay for what you've done here, Lapris!" Sendra yelled, her voice fierce and unwavering.
Lapris gave Sendra a confused look. "Me? A coward?! You have Akie blood flowing through your veins. You have no idea what happens beyond this island you call earth! The beasts aren't the bad guys here. The boy you call Adisa… is a threat to everything. Spend your life being ruled by another! Being abused as a tiny runt! Then tell me what has meaning!" Lapris shouted.
Sendra grunted, her aura pushing against Lapris's face with powerful winds. "I came to this island, defeated by the ten powerful super soldiers humans created, and was trapped here! My sisters and I have fought for years. The humans took my love from me." Tears began to glisten in her eyes, but she quickly wiped them away. "You know nothing of feeling or pride! You feel… NOTHING!!" Sendra yelled. "I'm going to crush you! Then I'm going to get us out of this twisted game you've created."
"Hehe… ahaha… HEHEEHEHEE!!!" Lapris laughed, throwing his tiny arms in the air. "You think I'm just some weakling, huh? Woman… my potential is unlimited!" He took a squat-like position, preparing for his next move.
"I can transform into anyone, dead or alive! Let's see how you fare against your very own lover!" Lapris cackled, unleashing a screech that echoed through the air.
Powerful winds pushed Sendra's hair back, and she used her hands to shield her face. The wind was calm. She slowly lowered her hands to see a tall man floating in front of her.
He had a low-cut hairstyle, bright brown eyes, a well-built physique, casual blue jeans, a long sharp nail on his pinky, and smooth brown skin.
"R-Rahshad? Honey, I—"
"You… left me to die," Rahshad said, his voice icy, his gaze fixed on Sendra. He looked down, taking in his own body. "How am I even alive? What has happened?"
Sendra and Rahshad landed on the ground, their eyes locked in a tense standoff. Rahshad surveyed the destruction around him, his expression hardening.
"What have you done?" he demanded, anger flaring in his chest.
"Rahshad… it wasn't all me. I-I have been helping—"
"HELPING?!" Rahshad scoffed, spinning around to take in the devastation. "Did you kill these people, Sendra?"
"Of course not! Why would you—"
"So, you didn't fight anyone to cause this?"
Sendra took a deep breath, frustration etching lines across her face. "That's what I thought." Rahshad said. "You haven't changed… not one bit. You continue to kill… even after what happened to our son?"
Sendra fell to her knees, rubbing her hands through her hair in despair. "No, no, no, no!"
Rahshad towered over her, his eyes wide with a mix of rage and sadness. "You're a killer. You killed me and our only child! You're pathetic! Trash!"
Tears filled Sendra's eyes, and she felt the weight of his accusations. "No, this isn't me! Leave his memory alone, Lapris!" Sendra cried, summoning her spear, her resolve hardening.
"ENOUGH OF THIS TALK! DO NOT MESS WITH MY FAMILY!!!" Sendra unleashed her energy, pushing Rahshad away with a force that shook the ground.
Rahshad braced himself, forcing himself to stay upright. "This is all me, baby! Not some stupid creature!"
Sendra spun her spear in a dazzling arc. "Magma… Thrust!" She launched the golden spear, infusing it with her energy.
As the spear hurtled toward him, she commanded, "Burst!"
The aura surrounding the spear expanded, causing a massive explosion. Rahshad barely managed to avoid the blast, using his speed to evade the fiery attack.
He landed in front of a building, preparing himself as the thick smoke obscured his vision.
"Phantom Shield and Sword… Creation!" A golden shield formed in his left arm, while a golden sword materialized in his right.
Rahshad took a fighting stance, waiting patiently for Sendra to strike.
Sendra burst through the cloud of smoke, holding her spear back for a powerful attack. "Golden Thrust!"
Rahshad raised his shield, bracing for impact as Sendra's spear collided with it, the force reverberating through his body. He felt the ground shake beneath him, but he stood firm, refusing to back down.
With a swift motion, Rahshad swung his sword, aiming for Sendra's midsection. She dodged, but not without a close call, the blade grazing her side.
"Is that all you've got?" she taunted, her eyes blazing with intensity.
"Not even close," Rahshad replied, determination surging within him. He quickly followed up, launching into a series of strikes aimed at overwhelming Sendra.
As they exchanged blows, the tension in the air thickened, each attack fueled by their emotions—anger, regret, and the desperate need to protect what was left of their shattered lives.

Jerome and Jericho were holding off Titian before he could make his way towards the group.
Jerome and Jericho flew around the massive beast like flys.
"Stay out of my way!! You all are scum!" Titan yelled, his voice shaking the city.
Jerome and Jericho landed on a nearby building. They each took this moment to come up with a plan.
"What's the move, Jericho?" Jerome asked while studying Titan.
"I can't find any weaknesses here. We can't even get close enough. Not with his decay still active. The only reason it hasn't reached the group is because we're trapping it in a domain. Which, even soon, maybe, won't last much longer. If we touch the ground we die."
"How are we standing on the building then?" Jerome asked. Jericho pointed towards the bottom of the building.
"As you can see, I'm using my aura as a shield or force field against his decaying ability."
"Hmph. Seems we both grow in different areas of aura style. In that case…we shall use that to our advantage. I think my reaper will come in handy for us being able to get close enough to strike." Jerome said with confidence.
"Oh? What if the decay is stronger?" Jericho said while nudging Jerome.
"Then, that just means we're finished." Jerome chuckled. The two looked at each other for a moment and bursted out in a laughter.
"Keep up, Jericho." Jerome said jokingly while taking a fighting stance.
"Me keep up?! Nah, you're the one who's gotten soft on me for the past 2 years. Let's get this thing rolling!"

Jade and Xavier both took fighting stances. "You have to die…you evil bastard." Jade said while gripping her sword tight.
Aten rolled his eyes and clapped his hands together. Two very long swords appeared in his hands. "These swords were weapons one of the gods used to try and kill me. This god…was a special one. No one saw it coming from a mile away." Aten explained.
The swords were beautiful. Golden swords with black handles. Aten stood tall. He looked around and noticed all of the destruction. He looked towards Adisa's direction and smirked.
"Not bad." He chuckled.
Xavier smacked his lips and flared his electricity. "It's time to face atone!" Xavier yelled.
Aten gave Xavier a cold look. "Atone? Oh, that's right. You brats haven't even heard or seen it yet, huh? I've don't nothing wrong. I freed my people from-"
"You call this freedom?! Look at what we've been doing! If only…if only you didn't exist! None…of this would be happening!" Jade yelled.
She raised his sword and pointed the end at Aten. "Now, you are going to come with us." Jade commanded.
"I'm afraid…this is where you'll die." Aten said while looking at Jade.
"Over my-" Xavier was cut off by Aten who said: "I wasn't talking to her."
One percent…is all Aten had. It was more than enough to handle Jade and Xavier.
"Let's get this started." Aten said with a smirk.

Adisa flew after Marcel and Obsidian. "Damn you!" Adisa yelled, punching and cracking open the ground.
He could see Marcel in the shadow realm.
(Sorry, Adisa. You were a great toy. Now, I'll have to finish-)
Marcel was shocked to see Adisa's fist headed towards him.
"He…can enter the shadow realm also?!"
Marcel leaned back, dropping Obsidian. He managed to barley avoid Adisa's punch.
Marcel emerged from the shadow realm. Adisa stood a few yards away. "Hand Obsidian over, now!"
"I can't do that. Obsidian is too important to the king. If you really did have the power to kill him…you'd have to-"
Adisa pulled out his sword. "Marcel…hand the beast over. I'm going to take him and use him to draw out Lapris. HAND HIM OvER!!" Adisa yelled.
Marcel caught a glimpse of Quintessa sneaking up on Adisa. Marcel's eyes lit up.
Adisa noticed the change it Marcel's eyes. He turned around.
"Broken arm!" She said.
Adisa's arm snapped, forcing him to drop his sword. "So, this is…Adisa." She said while slowly walking towards him.
Adisa tried to move his body and free himself from her control. "The hell?!" Adisa gasped.
"Run along, Marcel. Allow me to finish him." Quintessa said.
Marcel shrugged. "Still deciding to work for them?" He asked.
"No, not at all. However, I really could use a pet. I will control Adisa and use him and the god inside of him to kill the king." She explained.
Marcel looked at Obsidian, who was still passed out from earlier. I'm pretty sure they would try and kill you."
"I hope so."
Adisa began to chuckle. "You idiot. That thing is out of me! Your plan is foolish-"
"I saw what you can do. You are more than enough…unless…I have both of you."
Marcel grabbed Obsidian and went back into the shadow realm. "Damn you!" Adisa yelled.
"You're looking at me the same way Jerome used to when he was younger. I miss those days. Living in the outside world wasn't easy. I like this island better."
Adisa's eyes widened in surprise. "You're…actually his mother?"
"Yes. Enough of that though. Time to make you my pet. Goodbye…Adisa."
Before Quintessa could utter another word, a boy wearing a grey outfit jumped into view.
"This the guy?" The kid yelled out. Aubrie landed a powerful kick on Quintessa, pushing her back.
Aubrie turned and locked eyes with Adisa. Her eyes grew teary from the sight. "Yes…that's Adisa." She said with a hint of happiness in her voice.
Colt spun around and slammed his hands together. "Time prison realm!"
Quintessa was hit with powerful green aura that froze her body completely. "Blow away!" She screamed.
Aubrie, Colt, and Adisa were pushed back with great force. Colt pointed at himself and uttered the word: "rewind time."
Time itself rewind. It started back to when Marcel was about to enter the shadow realm again.
"What the?!" Marcel said, shocked from what he was experiencing.
Adisa quickly broke free of Quintessa's control and grabbed Marcel by the neck. He raised Marcel into the air and slammed him in the street.
Adisa turned around, worried about Quintessa. She was gone. "She managed to react that fast?" Adisa then looked over at Obsidian, who was also passed out.
He tossed Marcel to the side, ran over to Obsidian, and held his sword at the beast's thick neck.
Colt and Aubrie landed. "Don't move, Marcel!" Adisa ordered. Marcel looked at Colt and put his hands up. "You…you're the one who killed Crystal? You monster."
Colt ignored him and focused on Adisa. "Who's that?"
"Who are you?" Adisa asked back.
Aubrie stepped in between. "Adisa, this is Colt. He's a troop. Colt, this is Adisa…the one I was telling you and Flow about."
Colt put his hand on his chin and tilted his head to the side. "Interesting. So what's with the creature? And this whole place?"
"This thing is the key out of here. I just need to find Lapris. They care for Obsidian."
"Obsidian is that thing?" Aubrie asked in shock.
"Yes." Adisa sighed. He stood up and looked around. "Aurbie and Colt…I need you both to carry him for me and wait here. I'm going to find Lapris and-"
A tiny green needle shot in Adisa's neck area. He was fast enough to use his aura to defend himself. Adisa turned around to see Toxin walking towards him.
(I don't have the energy for this!)
"Amber will handle the Frost guy. You will return Obsidian at once. We have already won the game, Adisa. Our king now has the power to open portals and unleash the billions of creatures on Earth."
Adisa closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He teleported away with Obsidian in his possession.
"What?! Where did he?!"
"Reaper…slash!" Aubrie yelled, hitting the beast into a building. (Damn you Adisa! Aren't you listening?! Lapris will end the game. The king has already killed Udo and gained even more power! What's the point in holding him hostage?!)
Toxin forced herself off of the ground. "In that case…I'll just return the favor."
