"Alright maggots! HURRY UP AND MOVE!" The guard yelled. Every prisoner talked and moved in a single file line.
When they entered the courtyard, every man in the building stopped talking and turned around to slow paced footsteps.
"It's him." Someone whispered.
A tall man with long locs, so long that they dragged across the floor of the prison. He was muscular, with little facial hair, and his eyes showed no emotion whatsoever. He looked like a lost soul.
Everyone moved out of his way and let him sit down. "All you convicts…don't look at me." He said in a deep and soft voice.
Everyone turned around quickly and sweated uncontrollably.
A huge man pushed people out of the way. "Don't do it, Riho!" A man warned.
Riho pushed everyone out of the way and looked at the man from a few feet away. "Listen man! We're not scared of you or like you! Just because you killed the strongest people in the prison…doesn't mean we fear you! You're no different from the rest of us! Your a pile of trash that's gonna be thrown-"
"I'm…free…free anytime." The man responded as he began to meditate. "You're free?" Riho scuffed. "You can't leave this prison!" Everyone in the crowd laughed at the man.
"Not true. I left the other night and came back after dealing with someone."
The crowd fell into silence as they just stared at the man. "Kobe, grab me the knife!"
"A knife? Are you kidding me?" The laughed as he pointed his fork at the man and continued eating.
"Look at this freak! He's pointing a damn-"
Riho's body split in half. His blood shot everywhere and the men all stepped back.
"He's at it again boss. You want us to put him in the chamber?" The guard said in the radio.
"No. Bring him to me." The man on the other end said.
The guards marched out to the courtyard and grabbed the man.
*****
"This is the 534th time you've attacked a prisoner." The man at the table sighed. "You heard the man. I won't ever let a man step to me like that."
"Cole, you should start trying to behave yourself. Or…I'll have to kill you." The man said.
This "Cole" sat at the other end of the table and wandered off in his memories.
"Last night I escaped the prison and met up with a little business buddy of mine. Be prepared for a prison break very very soon, old man." Cole said in his soft voice. It was almost like he was being sarcastic about the whole thing. The general didn't know if he should believe Cole or not.
"Prison break? This prison is holding the finest criminals and most dangerous people on island x! If they can't escape, neither can you." The man laughed. Everyone laughed at Cole and doubted him.
"This brings back memories." Cole scuffed.
"Memories? What the hell are you-"
"I don't have a problem with you, general. But I will leave this prison…and kill a certain someone." Cole said.
"Get him out of my office! Put him in the box!"
******
Cole was shoved into a cave that was fenced off by an iron cell. "Enjoy!" The guard laughed as he walked off.
It was cold and barley light where Cole was sitting. "This must be a place outside of prison. That's fine. I'll leave at night." Cole told himself as he sat down and began to meditate.
*****
Five hours past, the sun was going down. Cole was still meditating. "I know your around here somewhere. My plan is working perfectly. The three of you…speak." Cole said.
"You can sense us!?" A woman asked from the distance. Cole was close to the prison…the person he was communicating with was hundreds of miles away, far from the prison.
"Yes."
"The hell!?" Three women said at the same time.
"Who are you!?"
"I'm a man on a mission. I need the three of you to help me achieve my goal. You do that…and I'll give you freedom." Cole said.
"Oh? And how do you plan to do that!? How do you even know about us!?"
"There were stories I heard in the prison. The people said there were three powerful warriors locked away deep underneath a mountain. I heard breathing, figured it you was three, and now hear I am asking for your assistance."
The three women were shocked. They've never met someone who could talk to them from such great distance.
"This is ain't normal, Gritha. We should-"
"I know it's not normal…but that's why I want to take the risk!" Gritha said.
"How can we trust you?"
"When the sun fades, I'll be on my way. My crew is taking too long. So…I'll break out of the prison. I'll come to your location after." Cole explained.
"Hahaha!"
"What's funny, Sendra?" Gritha asked.
"He…he thinks…he can just walk in here and get under a mountain! All while getting past a army of guards with powers!" Sendra laughed.
"Don't sleep on me!" Cole warned.
Sendra stopped laughing and found pleasure in Cole's tone. "Let's make a deal. If you don't break out of there in ten minutes from the sun goin down, you won't get our help!"
*****
Cole was transported back in the prison. The sun started going down. Cole was escorted through the halls. He looked at the clock while walking to his cell. "7:59"
I'll make my move in thirty seconds. He thought.
The guards stopped as his cell, removed the handcuffs, and pointed for him to walk inside. "In."
Cole looked up. It was eight. "It's time." Cole scuffed. Cole quickly slapped his hand against the guards neck and broke it. He grabbed his card and swiped it to let all of the prisoners loose. Cole jumped off of the balcony where his cell was. He landed smoothly. All the guard and prisoners fought among each other.
"We can't use our powers in here…all because of the general. I'll just use my strength to bust out." Cole laughed as he walked among the chaos. "This is wonderful! This thrill! This excitement! It's been so long!" Cole said as he threw his arms in the air and laughed uncontrollably. "Hey, that's him! Kill him!" Prisoners yelled as they charged at Cole.
Cole looked forward and jumped around the prisoners. Cole reached the wall of the prison and took a deep breath. He punched through the wall and made it to the outside. "Try to attack me and I'll kill you." Cole announced to the prisoners who ran outside.
Helicopters surrounded the prison and thousands of prisoners ran free. All of their powers were free to use.
One helicopter pointed its light at Cole. "There you are…general." Cole said. Cole lightly tapped his foot and leaped towards the helicopter. Cole crashed through the window, grabbing the man's gun, landing beside the general in a sitting position, and pointing it at the pilot.
"Don't look back here or talk." Cole commanded the pilot. The general scuffed and looked at his watch. "A little faster than I intended. You really are amazing." The general said.
"Land us over there." The general ordered the pilot. General and Cole both jumped off of the plane and where in front of the mountain.
"I heard your little deal. You have five minutes to defeat me and get to the three warriors. But, there's something you should know about the three of them they're not-"
"Akies…I know. But…they have the power to attract something I want my hands on." Cole said.
The general scuffed and moved to the side. "The next time we meet…we shall fight to the death. Right now, I want to see how your plan goes." He laughed. The general threw a sword to Cole. Cole caught the sword and studied it. "Where did you-"
"Remember when we found you in that river? Your sword was with you. I'm not like my father. I have goals that will help our race. Chrollo was a evil man." The general sighed.
Cole put the sword away and walked past the man. "Move away from the prison. I'm going to rip this mountain out from the ground with my bare hands." Cole said in a dry tone.
"What!?"
"You heard me. I'm gonna do it right now!" Cole grabbed the mountain and started pulling with all the strength he had in his body.
The general clapped his hands and teleported away from Cole. "Can he seriously lift a whole mountain?!"
Cole pulled and pulled. Eventually, he lifted the entire mountain up and held it over his head. He tossed it in the air and sent it flying.
Cole took a deep breath and lifted from the ground. He floated high and over the ripped mountain. Three women where chained at the bottom.
"Would you look at that. He really found us." One of them laughed. "Took me eight minutes. A deal is a deal." Cole said as he landed quietly on the ground.
"Impressive! But how do you know if we're good people?" Gritha asked.
"Yeah!" Sendra followed up.
Cole pulled out his sword and freed the three women from their chains. "Good? Evil? All things are unnecessary. There is no good! We all are evil. From the day…we were born." Cole looked at a woman and noticed her unique energy.
"What's your name and why aren't you talking?"
Sendra stepped in front of Cole. "This is Alicia. She's a corpse."
"A corpse? Why is she breathing then? Doesn't smell either." Cole asked.
"I can't explain it. One day, someone or something came in and just snatched her. They even copied the way she looks! But that was on our own-"
"That's enough, Sendra." Gritha said. "We can still use her abilities and she can fight. Only if we give her a piece of our energy or…the other option."
"You don't want to tell me?" Cole asked.
"If we're going to be with you to help you with whatever…you'll find out if your ever in that situation."
"I see. What a beautiful energy she had. May she rest easy." Cole said as he touched the corpse and closed his eyes. "Beautiful." He said. Cole turned around and sat on the floor.
"Why are you waiting!? You know the whole prison is about to-"
"I sense my team closing in. They'll come to me. Just sit here and wait." Cole said to Gritha.
******
Splinter, Alayah, Kenan, Dora, Zarbon, and Jade all scouted the prison. "People running everywhere. Hmm…we definitely missed him." Splinter said.
"Alayah, use your thingy!" Kenan said.
"Okay?" Alayah said. Her aura flashed and surrounded the area. "Tracking technique…activate!"
Alayah could see Cole sitting on the ripped apart mountain from their location. "I see him. He's…sitting down? But there are three others with him? Never seen them before?"
"What are they doing?" Splinter asked as he took off his black cape and folded it neatly. "Let's get over there! Zarbon, let's climb on your back!" Splinter said.
"No. You all can walk." Zarbon scolded.
"Cmon…don't be that guy. We don't feel like walking." Splinter argued. "No!" Splinter walked over and looked up at Zarbon. "Pussy." Splinter scuffed as he walked away.
In rage, Zarbon quill y grabbed Splinter and threw him towards the mountain. "Holy SHITTT!!!" Splinter yelled as his voice faded in the distance. Zarbon grabbed Jade,Alayah,Dora and Kenan. He tossed them in the direction he threw Splinter.
*****
Everyone landed. "There they are." Cole said.
"CAPTAIN!!!" Splinter yelled as he ran towards Cole. Cole put his hand on his sword rack. Splinter stopped and backed away. "I hate it when you hug me." Cole sighed.
Cole stared at Jade and froze for a moment.
"What's wrong captain?" Dora asked.
"Nothing. Who is she? Why are you here?"
Jade stepped forward and introduced herself. "My name is Jade…I was sent by Jack. I asked for his help…all to owe him later with an unknown price or action. I asked for your help. I asked for your teams help. We came here to break you out…it seems you made it out alone. I'm sorry. There was a unknown thing going around. Thousands of people were dead everywhere when coming here." Jade explained.
That explains the people dropping dead everywhere in the prison at the time, Cole thought. Jade continued: "I agreed to help your crew get you. In return, they'll help the island with a threat no one is ready for."
"You want us…to help you?" Cole asked.
"Yes."
"No."
"What!?" Jade walked closer to Cole. "I don't think you understand. The island is in danger! We need-"
"The island doesn't care about any of use. Why would I help? Do you know who we are?" Cole asked.
"I was in this organization before too! I workers under Jack for a long time! But I stopped and stayed with a clan for years." Jade explained.
"Good for you." Cole scuffed.
"Don't you get it!? You guys want world domination, right? You can't have that if-"
"We don't want world domination…we want to be free and go home. Even kill our true enemies, the humans. If there's a threat…you guys have enough warriors to handle the job."
"Captain…someone…someone from the other side …has the power to kill anyone at anytime. Jade says the enemy is trying to give birth to a king. A being that is unstoppable when born. You ok with that?"
"A king?" Cole asked as he stood up.
"A alien species! Called mythical beast!" Jade said.
Sendra and Gritha both looked at each other. "That's why it's here…perfect." Cole whispered to himself. "What?" Jade yelled over. "Nothing." Cole said as he turned around and introduced the three women. "Sendra,Gritha, and Alicia…this is my crew. My crew….they'll hang with us for a while.
******
Cole found a spot for everyone to sit and relax. Everyone was on top of a mountain. The lights in the sky glowed bright.
Splinter,Dora, and Alayah sat on the edge of the cliff and looked up. "Alayah would you move!?" Splinter yelled.
"Your the one on my damn foot?" Alayah screamed.
Jade was sitting next to Cole. She could hear a little laugh coming from the young man. "You really love them…don't you?"
Cole stopped and looked Jade in the eyes. "I remember when me and my friends used to sit and look at the sky. It was so much fun and so beautiful." She admitted.
"Your friends dead?"
"We all…don't talk. Ever since I lost one person I considered a friend…it was difficult to talk with the rest."
"I see."
"Can I…see your face? You seem familiar."
"My face isn't important to the world. Believe me woman…you don't know me. Listen…I'll help you…only because I need to attach a secret weapon."
"Weapon? For what?"
Cole looked down at the ground. "A weapon that…will kill the king."
A weapon that will destroy the island, Cole thought.
