Chapter 51 - Intensity

Nzinga followed the woman and the men into what looked to be a giant mountain made of ice.

"Have you boys heard or seen my clone?" She asked.

"No ma'am! Haven't seen it in a while. We sent it to go search for those people that were spotted near the clan!" The man said.

"I see. I still need to go check on my play thing…but it can wait. I just find it rather strange how our warrior shows up when enemies are seen in the area." The woman said.

"Miss Winter I highly doubt that-"

"Did I ask for your opinion?" Winter asked.

(Winter? Isn't that…I see. Frost wasn't the only child after all. Which means…the rumors must be true about their past.) Nzinga thought to herself.

"My clone is far weaker than me and only has a couple moves up it's sleeve. Even platinum or master level fighters can't handle me or the clone." Winter added.

Winter stared directly at the man. Blood came from his mouth as he fell on the ground.

"Don't ever talkback unless you've been told to do so. You all understand?"

"Yes ma'am!" Everyone said. Everyone besides Nzinga.

Winter stopped in her tracks and turned her gaze at Nzinga.

"Soldier…I said do you understand?" Winter scolded.

"Yep. I understand." Nzinga responded.

"You say yes ma'am. You little brat!" Winter said.

She stared at Nzinga with her jet-blue eyes. (My eyes have no affect on him?)

"Who the hell are-" before Winter could say anything else. Two giant doors swung open.

They were all in the middle of the mountain and around them were ice and two giant doors that led into a giant room.

"You may enter." A deep voice said.

The doors swung open and revealed a giant ice golem walking around in the open, staring all of them down.

(The king's not here!? Why is he speaking through this golem?) Nzinga thought to herself.

"The soldier that you sent to go capture him…is right here, father." Winter said.

The golem approached Nzinga and bent over to get on her level.

"You were the one who lead the mission. How did you sneak in and get past Udo so easily?" It asked.

"It's simple, sir. A clown can't lead a clan to glory like you do!" Nzinga said.

The golem laughed loud. It's laugh shook the ground. "But you remember what the goal of the mission was…right?" He asked as he walked around Nzinga.

"To kill Frost and bring him here."

"Then why is there still a heart beat?"

"Don't you have anything to say to your son, sir?"

"Not at all. remember, it was I who saved the clan from that monster! I needed him dead…but I'm interested to hear his screams. But since you failed to do as I say.." the golem snapped it's fingers.

The three men went out the room and came back in with a woman and a little boy.

(Don't tell me-you guys are-)

"For your punishment…the king has decided to kill your family!" Winter said with joy.

Nzinga tried her best to stay in character. (Over a little mistake? Are you kidding me!?) she thought to herself.

The men put them on their knees and lined them up in front of Nzinga while the others held her back.

"This is what happens when you don't follow orders!" The golem said.

(I've got to do something. But if I attack then the plan…)

"I did as you said and brought your son back to you. You don't have to harm my family, not one bit!"

"Silence." Winter said.

She walked over to the woman who was crying her eyes out.

"N-no please. Just don't hurt my son! My husband will do better I swear!" She pleaded.

"Kill her, Winter!" The golem said.

Nzinga watched as Winter made her nails longer with ice and slashed the woman's throat.

She walked over to the little boy and grabbed his head.

Nzinga slowly reached for her sword. "Please don't hurt him, Winter." She said.

Winter gave a big smile and put her nails across the boys neck. Before anything else could happen, the giant doors swung open. It was another Winter, all beaten up and dirty.

"Come." The real Winter said.

The clone ran directly at Winter and jumped inside her body.

Winter paused for a moment and turned to the golem.

"Father….we have intruders coming from the west and on their way here for Frost!" Winter said.

"Hold of on killing the boy. You guys go handle the people coming this way. I'll prepare my son for his death!" The golem said as it disappeared.

Meanwhile in a lab, Frost opened his eyes and looked around in confusion.

"Where the hell am I?" He asked.

He tried to move but couldn't. There were chains all around his body.

"These are weak. Just how weak do you think I am…father."

Frost looked at the chains and closed his left eye.

"Ice bloom."

The chains froze up and broke.

Frost got up from the table and started to walk around quietly.

"This…this is where we all used to stay. Me and my family." He said.

"Mom,dad,and sister."

Frost looked to his right and noticed a huge door. Frost opened it slowly to reveal a casket.

"This was where I was born. It ended up killing my mother though."

Frost could hear footsteps from the hall coming towards the room. Frost said nothing and watched as the door swung open.

"Hello there…father!" He said.

A huge man with a eye patch walked in the room. He cape was so large that it drug across the ground.

"Nice to finally see you after all these years, boy." The king sat down on the casket, as though it was a chair.

"Don't sit on mother!" He said in anger.

"Your mom was a piece of shit. I'm glad she died. But I also hate you…because of her death!" The king said.

Frost balled up his fist in rage. "What did you just say?" He asked.

"Enough talk. It's just me and you on this mountain and no one else. Time to see if that mark of yours is true!"

"What mark? Frost asked.

"I'll tell you when the real you appears. I knew you were a clone the entire time! When your ready I'll be at the top of the mountain behind the clan. Come alone and then you can face me!" The king said as he got up and walked away.

He turned around and stared at Frost. "Melt." He said.

Frost's body began to melt. "I knew it was a clone. How interesting."

Aliyah and Jerome approached the frost clan. In front of them was Winter and a army.

"So nice of you to join us." She yelled across the snowy field.

We aren't here for any trouble. Jerome said back.

"I know. I'll just kill you both now winter said as she was about to snap her fingers.

Before she could snap her fingers her hands where frozen in place.

(This ice…it's-)

Frost jumped into the clearing. His eyes where even more brighter than last time.

"You escaped father-it wasn't him. And I was in some underground system. But now I'll kill you and get the answers I need before I face him, sister."

Winter started to laugh. "Oh little brother. You've never been able to even land a blow on me in combat. You can just go run away."

"Running away isn't a option, not anymore!" Frost said confidently.

(What is this? I sense no fear coming from him at all. Frost…you-have you really done it!?)

Hundreds of soldiers were behind Winter as she approached Frost in the clearing.

"You all stay back! This is family business!" She yelled.

Nzinga stayed in character and watched. "The winner of this battle-if Frost actually defeats Winter then…he'll be easily top five in troops!" She whispered to herself.

Frost took off his shirt and shoes. He stretched out his body and walked slowly towards Winter.

"The two cursed children of the king are really about to fight!" Someone said in the crowd.

Winter and Frost made eye contact and locked on.

"Time to get revenge for all the soldiers, time to get revenge on my life, time to get revenge on the guilt you people put inside my heart!" Frost yelled as he ran at Winter
