It was 3am the next day. Adisa was on a tree and using the branch to do pull ups on it.
"450,451,452,453." Adisa said in a struggling voice.
His arms began shaking. He fell off the branch and landed head first on the ground.
"Damn that hurt." Adisa said.
Adisa got into a push up position and began to do some.
He stopped when he felt a hand touch his shoulder.
He turned around slowly to see Jerome standing over him.
Adisa rolled his eyes and kept doing push ups.
"Why the hell are you doing workouts?" Jerome asked.
"No reason,Just got bored that's all."
Jerome walked in from to Adisa and stared at him.
"Adisa. I saw your aura yesterday." Jerome said.
Adisa stopped and quickly popped up to meet Jerome's eyes.
"How the hell-I stayed back because your answer….was off." Jerome Interrupted.
Adisa fell in silence, not wanting to say anything.
"Why would you keep your power secret? And when did you find out you had our dna?" Jerome asked.
"I kept it a secret because…well I don't know. And I found out like last week or around two weeks ago." Adisa Said.
"Well Adisa…if you want me to be honest with you. I've never seen Aura like that ever in my life, being on this island." Jerome said.
"While you were meditating, I could see it form around your body and spread like a wild fire. It whipped everything around you out in an instant." Jerome explained.
"Yea, I can barley move thanks to it now. It feels like I have weights all over me. And the more I work out the lighter they are and the more aura I can control through my body." Adisa explained.
Jerome looked to his right and could see Adisa's jet black sword on the ground.
Jerome picked it up and started to study it.
"What are you doing Jerome?" Adisa asked.
"This sword-for now, keep working on your body. But you can also transfer that whatever Aura into your sword." Jerome explained.
"Our people have lots of abilities. But you might just be special."
"The two main abilities is expansions, powers we use with our voices, and more." Jerome explained.
"What Blaze had was a bloodline power. He has his and his people had their own unique abilities."
"People like us. We get ours from parents or just from being born." Jerome explained.
"When you see Summer stomping her feet and teleporting…it's all her passive abilities. She also has more which is kinda cool I guess." Jerome explained.
"Me on the other hand, I'm just plain. I have an expansion and a hidden troop technique."
"What is a hidden troop technique?" Adisa asked.
Jerome handed Adisa his sword then turned his back.
"You don't need to worry about that right now. Only the top five strongest in the troops get it." Jerome explained.
"But anyways listen. During the fight you had against Jade. I noticed you were moving differently then before."
"You have a good body. And I noticed you used words to fight. There was something else you did but I don't know what that was." Jerome said.
"Just try to move the aura into the sword." Jerome demanded.
"You see. For me to even use my powers I have to go into a deep meditation stat." Adisa said.
"From my research that hasn't been heard in thousands of years…only one person could do that." Jerome thought to himself.
"Well u sure are an interesting kid." Jerome said.
"For now on your training with me. We are gonna work on controlling your aura and making u stronger." Jerome said.
Adisa had a determined look on his face. "Right. We only have two weeks. So let's get it started." Adisa said.
Jerome halted Adisa from speaking by putting his hand over his mouth.
"I've always wondered this about you, but. What are you fighting for? Peace? Justice?" Jerome questioned Adisa.
Adisa just looked into Jerome's eyes.
Adisa walked past Jerome and stopped right behind them.
Their backs were now touching.
"I'm fighting for the truth about me….and the island." Adisa said.
Adisa walked into the dark and disappeared.
"Fighting for the truth?…don't we already know it?" Jerome asked himself.
Jerome turned around and followed Adisa.
He caught up to him and stopped him again.
"Adisa….do me a favor and try to put your energy in the sword." Jerome Said.
"Fine then."
Adisa clutched the sword in his hands and focused hard on it.
"Let go of all your thoughts and feelings. Focus only on the object." Jerome said in a calm voice.
Adisa could feel his aura spreading around his body. He felt pain everywhere.
Jerome jumped on top of a tree quickly.
"Focus harder. Or else you'll kill me in the process. Don't let your energy be released." Jerome yelled out.
Adisa started yelling in pain.
"Focus." Jerome said.
"Focus on the object…fight past the pain. Pain makes you stronger." Adisa said.
Adisa started yelling in a struggle. The aura around him started going into the sword. It was half way there until Adisa passed out and fell to the ground.
Jerome watched as the aura started going back into Adisa's body.
Jerome jumped off the tree and stared at Adisa.
"Yea. If he can get his body in shape then he will be able to wield that aura." Jerome said to himself.
Adisa tried to get up but Jerome pushed him back down.
"Don't try to get up. Just sit there." Jerome said.
Jerome took a seat right next to Adisa as he lauded there on the ground.
"Adisa,Your aura….I'll be honest with you. But that kind of aura hasn't been seen in years." Jerome said.
"And by years I mean more then thousands of years ago. Probably even trillions." Jerome said.
Adisa looked up at Jerome in amazement.
"I don't know either just like you do but…your special." Jerome said.
Adisa clutched his fist together in anger.
"I always ask caption and Summer to tell me what I really am. But they don't." Adisa said.
Jerome gazed at Adisa, with the moon light down on both of them.
"Just means your special I guess. I really don't know."
"But for your aura to be that powerful… I can only imagine what your real powers are." Jerome said.
"I just want answers. All the times I've wanted to go back home…to stop feeling the way I do. It's all messing with my head." Adisa said in an agonizing way.
"You'll find out the truth one day. I'm sure of it."
"Hell, you even remind me of the younger me. I always used to ask myself those kind of questions."
"Back when u lived with my mother beyond this island. I would wake up every morning wanting to just give up and I wanted the truth."
"The truth about why and how she would do what she did to her own kids."
"No one helped me…only my twin understood me. Because we both know the same pain. When we went to school and asked the other kids for food they laughed at us and stuff."
"I wanted to know what the meaning of living was if you can't even enjoy living." Jerome said.
"Even to this day though…I don't k ow what made her change. It's crazy how one person can change the way u look at people or life."
Jerome stood up and patted Adisa on his back.
"We aren't different at all Adisa. Just one thing is. I'm a killer and my time is up. You on the other hand, you still have time to forgive yourself and be a better person then me." Jerome said.
"We got a call also, about the mission. We will be moving out in one month instead of two weeks." Jerome said.
Adisa struggled to lift his head.
He couldn't believe how much him and Jerome shared.
"Why did they move the time?" Adisa asked.
"Jade had made contact with Jack while she was training. Somewhere near the border of our territory."
"Don't worry, she's still with us but she's pretending to be a spy for Jack also. So they decided that the plan will carry out in one month. According to Jade." Jerome said.
Jerome held out his hand.
"Come on runt. There's much work to be done."
Adisa grabbed on to Jerome's hand and stood up.
"Let's get that aura under control for the time being." Jerome said.
Both of them walked deeper into the woods. Getting ready for what's your come…
