His right sleeve had been reduced to little but scrap fabric because of the attack of the black-eyed bat. The threads were barely even connected anymore, but that was to be expected. He was still wearing one of the robes that Xiong Liqiu had given him and naturally; it wasn't the most high-quality clothes he had ever worn.
Since it would no longer function as a sleeve anyway, Yun Lei decided to use it as a makeshift bandage for his injuries. It wouldn't do much in terms of healing him, but it would at least provide some protection. Even that was better than nothing.
Munching on yet another piece of jerky, Yun Lei got to his feet and started moving. With his new found method, he was able to avoid any beasts in his way with relative ease. Unless a beast was blocking the only way forward, he no longer had a reason for him to actively engage in combat.
