After Kwok and Yun Lei had finished activating the remaining talismans, the camp had fallen into silence. Every once in a while, the former would take a swig from his waterskin, while the latter would munch on a piece of jerky. But other than this, neither of them made any noise. Kwok simply had nothing to say, and Yun Lei was deep in his own thoughts.
And this silence persisted until a few hours had passed after the sunrise, only to be broken by the half understandable mumbling of Laoshu, who had just woken up. The other two hunters weren't far behind, waking up right after him. All three of them appeared to be disoriented and confused.
