"5 silver on 6!" the target Yun Lei had been following for the last hour shouted.
He was at some sort of a gambling den with a bar off to one side. There were many games to play but the most popular one was undoubtably the dice game.
It had a simple premise; a dealer would roll a die and the gamblers would place a bet. If the die rolled the number you had bet on, your initial wager would be doubled.
The reason this simple game was so popular was that unlike most other games, this did not have a minimum required bid. Since almost all the gamblers were poor commoners looking to make it big, this was the only game they could play.
Yun Lei watched as the dealer lifted the cup to reveal that the die had rolled a 4. "Fuck!" the man shouted in frustration, having lost his money again.
At first, luck seemed to be on his side, as the amount of money he had started with had doubled. But soon, everything went downhill as he lost again and again.
