Yun Lei entered one narrow alleyway after another, randomly changing directions. Although he was certain that he was not being followed, it was better to be cautious. He also took that time to remove the jade tablet from his hip. Although it was quite the helpful thing, it did more to hurt than to help while trying to be discreet.
He re-emerged into a busy street after a bit of walking, blending right into the crowd. Despite being a lot more handsome than the average commoner, his simple clothing prevented him from sticking out like a sore thumb.
Green River City was similar in structure to most cities Yun Lei knew about. The commoners made their homes on the outskirts while the nobles lived closer towards the centre. Of course, compared to those living in places like the potato village, the commoners in the city were very well off. They had houses, stable jobs and some even operated their own shops and services.
