Jack's life sucked he was considered a failure, by his family and at sixteen he was kicked out of his family house with the reasoning that they couldn't support him financially and that as the oldest it was his duty to make sure his younger brothers and sisters were safe. that's how we get to where we are now, Jake woke up to see the dirty celling of his cheap apartment getting up he looked around seeing a moldy sandwich and that the plaster on the walls was peeling off cursing his landlord who promised to fix it he went to the shower and put on some new clothes before leaving to go to work at the grocery store. three hours later in the middle of his shift he got a call on his old phone that he had gotten in a employee give away it was one of his gaming friends picking up the call he heard his friend Vincent say have you heard about the new VR pods and that game Talos online responding jack said yeah I wish I could get one but there 1,000 dollars, I know said Vincent but there about to go on sale for 50% off and there's a buy one get one free deal all we need to do is pool together 250 dollars each. damn I think I have that much in my bank account when's the sale asked jack two day replied Vincent okay thanks for telling me and goodbye jack said hanging up jack thought two days and he would own his very own VR pods he even heard you could make money in game getting back to work his co-workers were confused jack was always know to be a mopey kid but he had a huge smile plastered on his face today. two days later jack started walking towards the location where Vincent said he would meet him but the problem was Vincent wasn't there slightly panicking that he went to the wrong place he looked around just as he was going to check his phone to find out Vincent jumped in front of him to which he jumped back screaming like a little girl Vincent almost doubled over in laughing you should have seen the look on your face.
