Nick—"Sorry about that. I just can't help it; it's in my blood," he gave a half-assed apology. But Shaun didn't prolong the argument; he knew Nick would never change no matter what was said. It was best to just accept him for who he was.
The two soon halted because someone had blocked their path, and it was pretty unexpected—Chase.
"Shaun can I speak to you for a bit," he said. Shaun hinted for Nick to walk ahead. Nick didn't even look at Chase, he once admired the guy, but after what he did at the Prelims, there was no one despised more. He shared the same sentiments with all the Clortho cohort.
"Now, what's this all about, Chase?" Shaun asked as he was pretty interested in why he was being paid a visit.
