Shaun walked to the entrance of the tunnel like all the other competitors. He looked on the screen, after which his eyes made four with a girl. She had cascading blonde hair, blue eyes, and was quite beautiful. She smiled at him before making her way back through the tunnels.

Gracy looked at the two names and sighed, 'Of all the people, why did it have to be her?' She knew Angela, and it was one of the most formidable opponents one could meet. She did not have the reputation of the others from her academy, and it was with good reason.
Angela, similar to Shaun, was not a fourth-year student. Neither was she a third. Instead, she was only a second-year student. Yet had made it on the team for the preliminaries. That alone showed how highly rated she was. It was not typical for second years to make the teams of the high tier academies. But Angela was exceptional.
