This time, however, not a soul left their seats. There was a buzz around, and though no one from Uprising was competing, they started their chants once more.
"FRAUD! FRAUD! FRAUD! FRAUD! FRAUD!" The Uprising supporters belted from the top of their lungs a means of intimidation.
Shaun heard the chants reverberating in the tunnels, waking him from his two-hour nap.
"It's Showtime!" He grinned before doing some stretches and warm-up exercises. The other representatives from Clortho could not believe his enthusiasm. They had allowed him to sleep because it was thought he would do what any person with an ounce of sense would -forfeit. Instead, he was preparing to enter the arena with a known sadistic sociopath.
From the tunnels, they could hear the announcer through the speakers.
"The main event from the first round is upon us. Let's welcome our opponents. From Good Samaritan, we have the man of flames; their number one ranked genius, Victor Damn!"
