Jacob was left fuming as he watched the yellow Nissan swerve on the road. He swore if that kid was seen again, he didn't care if they gave him the chair; he would kill the bastard. But Jacob knew he did the right thing showing restraint; if Mink and Clyde came back and heard the cops had paid a visit, there is no telling what they would do.
He looked at his damaged car, and it pained him. In a few days, he would have all the money in the world to fix it, but he was still pissed.
The two made their way back to the shop, where they saw Elliot and Nick looking over the Honda.
"I think I'll take the car to get a second opinion," said Nick as he scratched his chin. Before the incident, Jacob perhaps would have intimidated the two into leaving the vehicle. Now he couldn't be bothered.
"Get the hell out of here!" he said, just what the boys had hoped to hear.
