A video began to play, and teens were featured with outstanding abilities and even more impressive usage of their powers. What stood out was that most had dual abilities, which was entirely lacking in the prelims.
"Damn!" responded Shaun. He knew that LSA was top-notch, but this was far more than he expected.
"These aren't even the best ones; those are normally hidden until the tournament. It's where LSA tries to market to the league of heroes."
The two sat and watched the videos—even trying to find means to counter the enemies' abilities. Cindy enjoyed every minute of it, but soon she realized that Shaun's mind seemed elsewhere.
She didn't mean to pry but had to ask, "Hey, you've been spacing out all night. What's got you so bothered?"
