There Shaun sat, waiting patiently to see how it would all unfold, but he was ready for anything either way.
As usual, the announcer geared up the Colosseum into a frenzy. The monitors flickered signally that the twelve seeded would be shown. He looked for his name, and it was no surprise that it was number one on the list and Cindy was number five. He sighed in relief; he by no means feared another fight but was simply happy to end with the previous night's victory.
He sat in the waiting area, looking at all the participants of the final rounds gearing up for their matches. While relaxing, he had a visitor.
'Guess we'll watch the final round as spectators," Joked Cindy, who took a seat. Unsurprisingly there was no sign of the previous night's shoulder injury. The Hartford medical team was definitely top-notch.
"It has a totally different feel, doesn't it?" He chuckled. "How is Paul doing? Has he fully recovered?"
