It was Principal Barnabus. Truthfully, guilt was written all over his face; he didn't know what to say to Shaun.
He would never have imagined his son would have done such a thing. All because he was jealous of the spotlight. It marred a genuinely historic tournament for Clortho. What made it worse was Shaun would no doubt be leaving, and there was no other prospective talent.
"Principal Barnabus, I hope this isn't because you felt I was too hard on Chase," said Shaun. He knew no father wanted to see what unfolded in the Colosseum.
Barnabus sighed before speaking, "No, you handled the situation correctly. I've failed to instil the importance of character in my son's upbringing. So what happened today was my fault."
His expression seemed genuinely heartbroken by Chase's actions; Shaun could only imagine the pain being endured.
