Jane was amused upon hearing Alex.
"I really thought you left."
"No. I didn't. And if I did, I know you'd still find me. As long as I can't weld magic yet, I can't escape you." Her straightforwardness stunned the five six other around them.
"You didn't even tell me that he's working for you, too." She added while pointing at Edward who scratched the back of his head in embarrassment.
"Hello again, Young Madam."
"I'm not talking to you so shut up!"
Edward made a mouth zipping motion and he bowed down his head like a scolded child.
"Wife. It's not like that. If you'd say you'd go somewhere else, it's fine as long as I know where it is. I'm just worried you know. You can't stop me from worrying."
"Geez! No thanks. I don't trust your cheekiness and your shameless behavior."
Jane sighed and then turned around.
"It's already late. Let's call it a night." She then walked away towards the direction of the kitchen.
"Where are you going?" Edric called out.
