"Jane!" Jake's voice called her name from behind her.
She was walking alone the hallway since she asked Edric for it. She didn't want other students to see them walking together as they got inside the campus. She could tell that Edric was upset with this request but since he decided to be understanding, he relentlessly agreed.
But she didn't know that he was actually following her with Edward. Edric really wanted to send her off to her classroom even in this method. And as soon as he saw Jake going near Jane, his gaze towards the young man turned cold.
"Master, relax! You don't want for Young Madam to know that you're following her, right?" Edward tried his best to cool him down and seemed like the answer to make him relax was to mention Jane's name.
Going back to the scene in front of them. Jake ran to catch up with Jane.
"Good morning!" He said as soon as he caught up with her pace.
"Hi Jake. Good morning, too." Jane greeted him back.
