Jane went out of Edric's car in a grumpy mood. She used many concealers to hide the kissmarks on her neck and other visible parts of her body. Edric looked at her at a loss.
She really had the urge to punch him on the face because she could not walk properly. She felt miserable. She didn't look at him when she walked out and ignored all the attention she got from going out of Edric's car.
"Jane? What happened to you?" Jake just happened to see her slowly walking on the hallway.
"Jake." Jane ignored the fact that Edric was walking behind them. Jake also deliberately ignored him.
"What happened to you?" He asked her again because he didn't answer him.
"I'm fine. I went on a beach trip and I happened to strain my legs after I had a cramps while swimming."
Jake was worried and so he asked her, "Have you gone to the doctor? Maybe he could prescribe something that would ease your pain."
