Jane looked at Edric's amber orbs. Though there was a little light in the room coming from moonlight outside, for Jane, his eyes was really beautiful in contrast to her purple ones.
"You're beautiful." She blurted out causing Edric to muster a chuckle. He was glad that it was Jane's first word when he came back.
"Thank you, Wife. But you're more beautiful my queen." Her comment made Jane to blush and it was visible on her cheeks.
"Why are you here? I thought you won't be coming until...-" her voice trailed off as she looked at the time and then continued when she saw that it was still eleven in the evening, "-tomorrow afternoon."
He wore a mischievous smirk and said, "Well, someone said she missed me and so I made sure to finish my tasks there. I have to use my teleportation spells to speed up getting back at you."
"I told you it is fine." She whispered.
