"Tell me something new, Beatrice. You're always dumping the same card to insult me." Edric threw at her.
"You! You don't even treat me with respect! How dare you!"
"Now you're using the 'Respect Card' now huh. Are you worthy of my respect?"
Aunt Angeline who had been listening to their exchange chuckled inwardly. She never expected for Edric to be this sharp tongue when needed.
For her, Beatrice McWilliams really had no rights to demand for respect from him since she had started disrespecting him. And she was really curious about the latter's reaction should she know that Edric's status was more than what she could imagine.
She was already imagining her face turning green with envy and would want to dig a hole and hide herself on it.
"Mom! Please!" Then she looked at Edric begging him to also stop it. "Elder brother, please!"
