Meanwhile, back in the McWilliams mansion, the family were having breakfast together at the garden area to take advantage of the fine morning weather outside.
They were already mid-way when Jane heard Alex's car entering the gate.
Jane asked Phil if he could invite Alex to join them for breakfast.
However, Mike stopped her.
"Just let her be, wife. I'm sure she's not in the mood today."
"Why? Is today a sad day for her?"
"You could say so. Hmm, you can go to her room after breakfast if you want to." Edric told her.
"Who is Alex, Ate?" Naomi asked curiously.
"Oh! She's a friend. She's a doctor. And she's cool."
"How about me? Am I not cool?" Edric teased his wife.
"Yes you are. You're super cool!" She complimented him as well.
"Can I meet her?"
"Oh! Well, if you'd like to, why not? But as what you've heard from your brother-in-law, she's not in the mood right now. Maybe later when she's already fine, I'll introduce her to you."
