Jane's eyes widened after she realized that he had low key confessed his feelings to her.
"Did you just confess to me?"
Edric was at a loss after hearing her question.
With a sigh, he said, "Wife, everything that I did for you every day, I'm always hoping that they can reach your heart little by little."
Edric pulled her closer towards his chest and Jane subconsciously gulped as his face draw closer towards her face little by little.
Edric inwardly smiled after seeing her face starting to turn red.
Jane wanted to look away but Edric held her chin and made her to turn her face to face him.
"Why are you acting so shy now? We have done shameless acts in bed already. Now's not the time to be shy to me wife."
"I'm not. You're just too close that I can inhale your masculine scent." She denied at the same time looked to the place where Darius was standing. She was surprised to see that the place was empty.
