Jane woke up late that afternoon. She felt so sore all over her body. Her throat hurt after her loud moans earlier that day.
She slowly got up from their bed and sat in a sitting position as she searched the entire room for Edric's presence inside the dim room.
However, there's none.
She decided to leave the bed and slowly walked towards the window. She saw a glint of light behind the curtains and so she wanted to check if she was right.
She hissed in pain every time she stepped her foot forward as she slowly paced towards the window.
She thought that she'd get used to this pain after a little while.
Reaching the window, she drew the curtains apart revealing the outdoor scene to her.
She saw that the sun was still up however it's nearly dusk.
Gazing up, she sighed deeply because she remembered that she was not able to return to school for her afternoon class.
And she had left her things back in the University. She hoped that Alex would collect them for her.
