Amabel's POV
"He asked you out on a date?" Ella shouted from excitement. She held Gwen's hand very tightly. I won't be able to do anything with all this shouting and squealing. I need to get ready. It's past three.
"Guys, I need to get ready."
They looked at me and dragged me to the bathroom. "You need to take a shower. Oh, and uh wash your hair and shave," Ella demanded. Gwen started getting her fairy godmother tools together on her make-up table.
I got in the shower and washed my hair. Shaving was a real pain in the ass. I grabbed the gardenia flavored body wash and washed myself. I got out and quickly brushed my teeth and wrapped my towel around me. "Gwen! I don't have any clothes!" I shouted from the bathroom.
She brought me a navy blue dress made of thin material with a thin strap over the shoulder. The dress had white and pink flowers on them with a brownish braided belt to finish the look. I got dressed and went outside with wet hair.
Gwen dragged me to her make-up station as Ella started to dry my hair. "Not too much make-up Gwen," I shouted through the loud noise of the hair dryer. For once, she actually listened to me. When my hair was dry, Ella curled some of them into waves. It looked so beautiful.
As for Gwen, her brushes are really magical. Just powder on my face, little eyeshadow to make my eyes look smokey and pink lipgloss. They are miracle workers.
"Wait! Shoes!" Gwen shouted in panic.
"I'll get them," Ella said and ran to my room. She came back with my black ankle boots. Luckily it had a zip so we wouldn't have to struggle with laces.
After a few minutes, there was a knock at the door...
Ella and Gwen squeaked like little girls. "Guys! Keep quiet!" I whispered loudly.
I opened the door and saw him standing there. I love this look. No suit. A short navy t-shirt and jeans to go with it. Nothing fancy... I love it.
"Hi," I said. We didn't say much. We only looked.
"Hey," he said. He cleared his throat and asked, "Are you ready?" I nodded my head. Am I forgetting something?
"Wait!" Gwen shouted. I knew it. "You forgot your phone," she said and handed it to me. "Thanks, Gwen. Thank you, Ella. I'll see you later," and gave them each a hug. "Bye," they both whispered and closed the door behind me.
He held out his hand for me and I gave it to him as he walked us to the elevator. "You look so beautiful," he said and kissed my knuckles.
I started blushing and replied, "You don't look so bad yourself."
"Good afternoon, Miss Avery," Jonathan said and opened the door for us to get in. Jonathan got in and started driving. "Hey, I'm gonna have to blind fold you."
"What?" I asked.
He chuckled and said, "I'm gonna have to blind fold you. And you're gonna have to put music in your ears."
"Are you going to kidnap me?" I asked worriedly. Seriously? What? I have to know. He began smiling. Damn, I love that smile. "Uh, no. It's just a surprise. Okay?"
"Okay. I guess," I said, trying to hide the fact that I want to puke from being nervous. I don't like the idea of me not being able to see or hear where I'm going. He took out a navy blind fold from his pockets and said, "Turn around."
I took a deep breath and turned around. He gently placed it over my eyes and tied it at the back of my head. When he let the straps go, his fingers slid down the sides of my neck, over my collarbones and over my shoulders down my arms.
"Okay. Now, earphones," he said. I heard him taking something out of a bag. I hope he didn't buy brand new earphones... I would kill him.
Then he began stroking my cheek again and then placed both earpieces in. Nothing played yet. I could still hear him. I felt his warm and minty breath on my neck, kissing me all the way until his lips met mine. His tongue softly swept across my lips. And then... he pulled away.
Music started playing in my ears. "I never pegged you for a sucker for romance," I said.
He pulled out one earpiece and whispered, "You don't have to shout. Why don't you keep quiet and lie in my arms?" He put it back. I turned to look at him and smiled. He took my legs over his and held me in his arms.
I have died everyday waiting for you
Darling don't be afraid
I have loved you for a thousand years
I'll love you for a thousand more...
After a while, I realized we weren't moving anymore. He took my hands and led me out of the car. We started walking and he never let go of me. Then I stopped walking and it felt like I was flying. Trevor picked me up in his arms and started carrying me. I snaked my arms around his neck and snuggled into his neck, taking in his familiar scent.
He leaned down and placed me on my feet. He took my hands again and started walking. "Uh, Trevor. Could I take the blind off now?"
He stopped and let go of my one hand still holding the other and came in behind me. His fingers were sliding all the way from my wrist to my neck and planting soft kisses there again. I moaned. Over and over again.
