The room was spinning around the two of them. Sly and Tirandale stared at each other with conflicting emotions in each of their eyes.
Sly couldn't believe what she had just said to him. Her words were like sharps swords that cut through his heart so hard he couldn't breath.
"I love him," he confessed hoping she would change her mind.
"You say that each time and you except me to turn a blind eye. Why?" she asked him pain evident in her voice. "Are you the only one who can hurt for love?" she questioned.

"What did you mean then. Am I so heartless that you speak to me like this?" she inquired. "Don't forget one thing Slyvan. The only reason you get to have your way each time is because I love you," she added.
Sly broke eye contact with her and stared at the ground. How could he forget that fact, he could feel it even when he was in Attilan. Her love protected him every step of the way.
