The king looked back to the palace door, he examined the face of the one whose doom they were plotting. The smirk on her face was very clear, it was as though she knew exactly what they were discussing. He flashed her a smile and raised his head high.
He was the king and whispering to each other in the middle of the crowd was not his thing. But it did get the effect that he wanted, he had a lot on his plate at the moment and there was no space to add her and the troubles she was bringing their way.
