Sly walked into the room. Landon was almost losing consciousness when he got there, while the king was laying on top of him already asleep.
He strode over to the bed with a headache. He had eight children to baby seat if you count the two on the bed, the two outside the room, and the four gods in the trial he would have to deal with from the trouble the male got them in.
He took the king away from the bed and held him down to the floor. He removed his clothes and held him to absorb the heat from his body. He let his cold body embrace the king.
It took a while to get the king's temperature back to normal. By the time he was done with the king, Landon was lying on the bed with his eyes tightly closed.
He set the king on the opposite bed and got to Landon. "You are trouble but you are exactly what the king needs to get back what was snatched from him. For that you need to live," he whispered in a language that only he could understand.
