Landon sat in his room debating everything that he had learned. After so many years in Arcadia, he had learned not to believe things so easily.
The story that he had heard from Arian, Theo, and Sly made sense. But it also brought up many questions in his mind.
If Arian was truly a god and powerful then how was it that the Tagai was keeping him captive? And if they had been together in the in-between then how come Arian acted oblivious to everything?
He processed his situation. Theo found his way into the prison. Surely some alarm would have sounded alerting the Tagai of his presence. Yet no such thing happened.
It surprised him.
Something wasn't right. He doubted the key to breaking his curse. If it worked then he would be free and not trapped as he had tried many times.
Landon stood up and paced around. Sly had gotten so excited with the new truth. Yet he couldn't pinpoint why he questioned it.
