William came to the dark prison, where David was locked up. David was seen sitting in the corner of the prison with a blank stare. He lifted his head as he heard footsteps getting closer to him. Maybe it's time he got his execution, David thought.
His eyes widened when he saw the man he didn't expect to meet in prison. He immediately stood up to greet William.
"My Lord," said David, bowing his head.
William just glared at the man in front of him. "Is it true that you married my daughter?" William asked coldly when he was in front of David.
"That's right, my lord. I thought your daughter was Isabel, and I didn't think it was Louisa," David replied.
"Now that you know if she's not Isabel, do you regret marrying her?"
"Of course not. I don't care if it's Isabel or Louisa. That woman has given me new hope to get out of the dark hole that I have been feeling for so long. I love my wife, whoever she is."
